Fifteen: Flipped

Isabella's POV

I didn't know why our plan didn't work yesterday. Commander Omega shouldn't have noticed Annabeth with her invisibility cap. He might have powers and be the heir of the universe, but he shouldn't have noticed Annabeth. I'll have to do some more digging. Anyway, I have to go over to Annabeth's room and help her and Alex plan out our fight. 

I walk down the dark, endless hallways until I reach Annabeth and Alex's purple door. I knock and hear a faint "come in," most likely from Alex. Annabeth probably has her head in a book. I walk in and my suspicions were correct. Annabeth had her head in a book and Alex was laying on the bed, doing nothing.

"Do we have a plan for the attack later today?" I ask. 

"Annabeth is working on it, right babe?" Alex gets a hmm from his girlfriend in response. 

"Yes! Got it!" Annabeth exclaims. I guess she figured out her plan.

"Ok, so I want us all to go to battle with a large army. Astro will be there with Omega, or I have learned his birth name is Nova. We won't be able to defeat the princes, but we can weaken them. If I find a way to weaken the border, we can send monsters through the sides to launch a surprise attack," Annabeth rushes out. 

"Sounds good, how many monsters for a frontal assault, and how many more for the teams on the border?" I say. I am going to go get the army set after this, so I want numbers.

"I want 2,000 for the frontal assault and teams of 50 for the sneak attack," she says. Ok, that's a lot, but I can make it work.

"I'm going to head down to the barracks to gather the army and tell them the plan. Then I can meet you in the armory in twenty-five minutes to get ready," I say as I head out the door. This was going to be some heck of a fight.

Percy's POV

I was with the rest of the army. It was the afternoon of the day we broke the news of the spies. I plan on introducing Astro at dinner. I made Astro his own room in the cabin. My dad put him into the Elite Team, and my friends trust him, surprisingly. I didn't know they would warm up to my cousin so fast. Astro's cloak is Navy blue on the inside with the emblem of two crossed swords on the back. His code name was Gamma just in case we needed them again. He didn't want to use Destruction because it held too many memories of his past. I can relate.

I am currently making my way to the kitchen in the cabin because I want a snack. I was napping before, I only got three hours of sleep last night. I find the girls sitting around the island drinking tea and coffee. I snuck up behind Zoe and kissed her on top of her head. She jumped a bit before tilting her head up and laughing at me and my antics. I smiled back and went to the fridge. I got some yogurt and got a spoon out of a drawer and sat down at an island barstool next to Zoe. 

"Finally sleepyhead! You slept for five hours after breakfast!" Zoe says. I never checked the time after I got up from my nap. 

"Really? I slept that long?" I wonder out loud. 

"Yes! It's three in the afternoon! Didn't you have paperwork to do for your dad and the border patrol assignments?" Silena says. I guess she has a point. I did have a night's worth of paperwork sitting on my desk.

"I got the border patrol assignments done, I just have about seven hours of universal paperwork to catch up on," I say nonchalantly. 

"Percy! Go get your paperwork done. Luke can train the campers for today, I'll even stay with you while you finish," Zoe says. 

"Thanks, Zoe. Come on, let's go upstairs. You can watch me to paperwork for seven hours," I chuckle and lead my girlfriend upstairs to finish my paperwork.
