Zoe's POV

These campers are getting on my nerves. They keep sending us glares and they whisper about us when we walk back. So, naturally, I stay in the cabin and stay away from the campers as much as possible. That's where I am right now. I am sitting in the cabin and playing video games with Nico and Bianca.

"Nico! No fair! You always win!" shouts Bianca. To be fair, Nico just won his fifth game of Mario Kart with a gold cup. It really is not fair.

"It is fair little sis, I just practice way too much with Luke and Will. I beat them too," says Nico, matter-of-factly. I will say, every time we are not on a mission on a different planet, I always see Nico on Mario Kart with Will and Luke. I don't think this man sleeps because I can hear him at three a.m in the morning playing this stupid game.

"Hey, guys! Who won this time?" I hear Will as he climbs down the stairs in our cabin.

"Your boyfriend has beat us for the fifth time Gods dang it!" I say. Will does not look surprised. Instead, he walks up behind Nico and puts his arms around his shoulders leaning over the couch.

"I'll be back guys, I'm going to check on Percy. He has been training for hours," I say. With that, I walk out of the room and head downstairs to see all of the dummies destroyed and Percy sitting on the bench, not even breaking a sweat. He is sitting with his elbows on his knees and his face in his hands. I walk up, him not noticing my presence yet. I sit next to him and place my arm around his shoulders. I let out a breath and start talking.

"Nico beat us at Mario Kart again," I say, trying to lighten up the mood.

"I know who killed my parents," he starts with. I was taken aback for a moment to try and process the information. We had searched countless galaxies for his mortal parent's murderer.

"Who?" I ask.

I start to feel bad, but he answers a few minutes later, "End." I never thought he would say that. He did tell me what was written on the wall though when his parents were murdered. "Next time I will not be so nice, Nephew," it read. It makes sense now, Chaos's brother is End, so that would make Percy his Nephew.

"Oh, Percy, I'm so sorry," I say. He takes his elbows off of his knees and he rests his head on my shoulder. I start raking through his ebony black hair. Soon before I know it the conch horn sounds for lunch.

-----

We arrive in the dining pavilion hand in hand. The rest of the team looks up while we enter. We take a seat side by side, and everyone looks at Percy, who has his head hung low. I mind-message them, nightmare, they seem to get the memo and go back to eating. I get a PB and J sandwich for lunch and Percy just gets some fruit. I could tell he really did not want to be here. The last time he was this gloomy was after a mission had gone wrong, and we barely made it out alive.

We were stopping a war on a planet 12,000 light-years away. Everyone was there, fighting for the citizens who had been trying to stop invaders from enslaving their homes. It was nine to an army of 1,000. Not the greatest odds, but we were taking down the aliens left, right, and center. That's when I heard the scream. I looked over to see Bianca falling with a nasty gash to the thigh. Nico shadow traveled her away and helped her.

I went back to my deadly dance with my hunting knives. I hacked down the enemy and eventually found myself next to Luke who was fighting a dragon. I helped by pulling out my bow and shooting it with my Void Metal arrows. After Luke stabbed the beast in the heart, I heard another scream. I hated this one the most.

Percy had an arrow sticking out of his side, but that's not what worried me the most. I saw a sword-cut on his shoulder, and it was deep. He was practically gushing blood. I tried to run over to him, but I was backed up by monsters and aliens. I had to fight my way through.
