It had been a day or two, and I wasn't feeling good. The whole story about me finding out about the miscarriage was only partly true and I needed to come clean and tell them.

Everyone was in the living room sitting down waiting for me to speak.

"I knew that I was bound to have a miscarriage but I was scared to tell you because I thought that you would get mad at me for not being truthful," I confessed

Esme nodded, "Then tell us what really happened," she said.

I took a deep breath in and started "I was at my friend's house alone because Louis had already left..."

~~~~FLASHBACK~~~~
My friend Sage was doing my ultrasound when she had a confused look on her face, "everything okay?" I asked concerned. She pointed at a little white speck in the center of the screen.
"This bright spot on the baby's heart is called an echogenic focus. And there's another one on the bowel. Now, I know that probably sounds scary, but let me be clear. By itself, this has no effect on the baby's health or the heart," She said.
"So what's the problem with it?" I asked.
"Well, at the moment, there is no problem. But an echogenic focus can be a marker for possible chromosomal abnormalities in the fetus. But like I said, it could also be nothing, a normal variant." She stated.
My mind had zoned out... I was staring at the ultrasound screen and the small white dot was the only thing I could focus on.
"How do I find out if it's a bad thing or not?" I asked.
"We can do an amniocentesis. It's a relatively common procedure where we remove and test fetal cells. After the procedure, we'll get you on bed rest for 48 hours, and after the risk has passed, you're back to your life." She told me
"What's the risk?" I asked.
"Miscarriage," She said.
I nodded.
"Statistically, it occurs in about one in three-hundred of these procedures," she finished.
~~~~END OF FLASHBACK~~~~

"So I take it you did the amniocentesis," Carlisle said.

I nodded "I was a part of the one percent"

"You didn't have to tell us," Bella said, "We wouldn't have judged you either way,"

I smiled knowing that I seriously have the loving family that I've always wanted.

~~~~TIME SKIP~~~~
Charlie had left and Bella played her part very well, "Well done Bella, never seen a newborn show that kind of restraint," Jasper complemented.
"I'm not sure she is a newborn. She's so tame," Emmet said
"Emmet, don't antagonize her," Edward warned.
"She's the strongest one in the house," I said while bouncing Renesme on my lap.
Emmet cracked his knuckles and snorted, "Please," He said.
We were all outside and Emmet was carrying over a big fucking rock. He had his ego get the best of him and now he and Bella are doing an 'arm wrestle'
Emmet put the rock down that caused a loud bang and got Renesmee scared.
