Chapter 17: Be Careful

3RD PERSON POINT OF VIEW AND NOT AUTHORS NOTE

As Ramona's journey with The Cullens slowly came to an end, it meant that she had to return to Hogwarts.

With Potter and Liam too of course.

But she was scared.

Who was she going to be with?

Draco wouldn't talk to her.

Theo wouldn't even look her in the eye.

Daphne didn't know how to feel, as usual.

Blaise was too busy doing Merlin knows what to even know what's going on.

And Pansy just does whatever Draco does so it's safe to say that she hates her right now.

But she had every reason to leave Draco and Theo behind.

She just didn't understand why Daphne had to shut her out.

"So, what's up with you and Harry?" Bella asked sitting down while passing Mona a cup of tea.

Mona looked at her confused, "What do you mean?" she asked taking a sip.

"I mean that I know you two aren't actually together," She said shrugging.

Mona almost choked on her tea, "What?" Mona said.

"It's pretty obvious," Bella said.

"How?" Mona said as her soul practically jumped out of her body.

"You guys aren't as... how do I say this, touchy-feely with each other," Bella said avoiding eye contact.

"I don't do touchy-feely though," Ramona said trying to convince what felt like the both of them.

"That's beside the point. Tell me the truth," Bella said giving the brunette a look.

"We both had people to get back at," Ramona said shrugging. Theo pissed her off while Ginny and Harry were going through a tough time.

"Mona, when it comes to you, revenge is never the answer," Bella stated not daring to make eye contact with the "young" girl.

"What's so bad about getting revenge on people who did you wrong?" Mona asked, shrugging, really not knowing what the problem was.

"You always take it too far and someone is going to have to drag you out of the mess," Bella said.

"He's going to be around for a long time, isn't he?" Potter asked Mona when he looked at Liam.

"A very long time," Mona smiled.

Potter placed his arm over Mona and looked down at Liam in her arms.

Bella, Edward, and Mona made eye contact and smiled at each other.

Their family was going to be just fine.

Forever.

'that was weird, my head really hurts now.' Mona thought.

The two girls continued talking and soon enough Potter, Mona, and Liam were back at Hogwarts unpacking.

Ramona sat on the couch staring at the fire. The sound of the fire cracking made her feel at home.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Potter's voice came up from beside her.

Ramona was so deep into her thoughts that she didn't even realize that Potter was sitting beside her.

She looked to her side and saw Potter sitting there.

It was so weird.

Usually, no one could read her body language.
