Elizabeth's POV:
Movie Set
"Rhythm is a dancer,
I need a companion
Girl, I guess that must be you
Body like the summer, fuckin' like no other
Don't you tell 'em what we doDon't tell 'em, don't tell 'em!"
Me Chris and Chris yell as we sing in the hair and makeup trailer. This is by far one of my favourite times of the day, because it's just the whole cast being complete and utter nuisances while the professionals try to do their jobs.
The more occasions I have like this the more thankful for being a part of such a great and talented cast, I'm just really grateful.
I also think about what Scarlett said this morning about being her girlfriend and things. And I wonder if she feels same, because after all she said she loves me, and I know for a fact that I love her. I don't know, maybe she'll ask me?
We continue to scream the song at the top of our lungs until all of us are dressed and in full costume and makeup. That's where Mia comes out and inspects the costumes, making sure that they are exactly right for the scenes we're going to shoot today.
She starts with the Chris's, pointing out that they did a pretty good job and that they were both cleared to go. Then she gets to me.
She smiles at me briefly before looking me up and down, making sure that everything is how it's supposed to look. My outfit isn't as complicated as the others, it's mainly just a short black dress and red leather jacket, which I think is mainly used as a joke later in the movie.
It's odd, because the start of the move takes part in South Africa, which is where we'll be going later in the filming process.
It's odd because we're filming scenes at the end of the movie before the ones at the start. Meaning that I'm going to be filming scenes where I'm on their team before I film scenes where I'm trying to kill them.
I found that funny.
"Like what you see?" I laugh jokingly, knowing that she's only doing her job.
"No." She says nonchalantly, making me frown. She laughs at my pouty face and readjusts the bottom of the dress.
"I'm kidding, uh, and hey would you look at that." She says, running her hand up my leg and tapping a mark she left on the inside of my thigh.
"Yeah I- I er, I did it paint-balling a-awhile ago." I reply nervously, making up an excuse.
"Yeah that needs some work." She says under her breathe as she inspects the red leather jacket.
"Yeah I know." I say rubbing my nose and speaking under my breathe. After a moment of silence I decide to ask what's on my mind. "Hey, Mia, have you ever been asked to be someone's girlfriend?" I mutter under my breathe.
"Nope. I'd kinda like to be asked though, some day." She says and turns around to write something down, perhaps a detail about the costume that needs to be carried over or something.
