"How's my little groom feeling?" Mrs.Yang asked, knocking on the door while watching Jungwon fixing his suit
"A little bit nervous" he answered, faking a smile to his mother who watched him proudly
"Don't be," she patted his shoulders lightly to remove the invisibile dust from the jacket "also can I ask how the things between you and Cho have been? The past two months she didn't complained about anything"
Jungwon nodded "fine, I think I learned how to love her back. Soomin isn't that important anymore for me"
The woman smiled and wiped away some invisibile tears "I'll leave you alone the last ten minutes, ok? Just to feel less nervous"
The boy nodded and faced the mirror until the door closed
"You're so stupid mom" won took out a hoodie and a pair of sweatpants and changed
He dialed a number and placed a note on the suit he placed on the chair
"I'm ready Yeonjun-hyung"
"Soobin is outside your room. Pull your hood up and put a mask on. He'll tell you what to do" Jungwon nodded and ended the call before pulling his hood up and going out
"Soobin-hyung," Soobin looked up from his phone and smiled at the soon-to-be-father "let's go"
"Also, congratulations in advance Jungwon-ah. Yeonjun-hyung told me that Soomin is in labor" The Yang smiled and thanked him
Yes, you heard that right. Soomin is in labor and Jungwon is in another country
Jay called him this morning telling him that Soomin was in labor
And his friends didn't hesitated to help him escape his wedding and let him be there when his child is born
"Hope you won't mind if we visit the baby once?" Jungwon shook his head "of course you can Soobin-hyung, after all I can see my child only because you're helping me"
"Guess who's back Jungwon~" Beomgyu waved from the car which made Jungwon roll his eyes
"And I have to travel from China to Korea with him beside me?" Beomgyu rolled his eyes too
"Be grateful that I sewed your injury last time or else you would have died from loss of blood"
Yang Jungwon just rolled his eyes once again and got inside the car, sitting beside the brunette
"Please stop arguing or I'll chop your hands off" Taehyun complained from the passenger seat, already annoyed by the two bickering after two seconds they met
"Where's Hueningkai-hyung?" The youngest asked after noticing the absence of the angelic boy
"He's with Yeonjun-hyung, they had some things to do" Jungwon nodded and slid his phone out of his pocket
"Jungwon?" Jay answered the call
"How's Soomin? Is the baby already born?"
"Not yet, she's about to go in—" he paused making the soon-to-be-father confused
"I have to go Jungwon, she's almost ready" that's the moment where all the anxiety he tried to suppress came up
"B-Bye Jay-hyung.." he took a deep breathe as he closed his eyes, trying his best to calm down
"Guys, I think Jungwon is having a panick attack—" Beomgyu shut his mouth after Taehyun glared at him, signaling him not to open his mouth
"Are you ok Jungwon-ah? Do you want some water?" Soobin asked, watching the younger from the mirror worried
"I'm just nervous.." he took a deep breathe again yet he couldn't calm down
"H-How much will it take to arrive in Korea?"
"Few hours, I'll try to go as fast as I can"
Hours passed and yet, the four were still stuck inside the car
As the minutes passed, Jungwon was growing more and more anxious
He couldn't seem to think straight and his mind was only imaginating the worst. He didn't knew why but he wanted it to stop
"We're almost there, twenty minutes and we'll be in front of the hospital" Soobin reassured him, seeing his anxious state as Jungwon kept glancing outside the window
"How did you decided to name it?" Beomgyu spoke again, only earning a death glare by Taehyun
"We.. we didn't talked about this.. the only name we had in mind is Soowon.." The three nodded as silence took over once again, the only thing you could hear was Jungwon tapping his feet on the ground nervously
Minutes after, which felt like days, the sight of the hospital made a sigh of relief leave his lips
Then why was he still so anxious? He can't make a bad impression on his child, it's literally impossible
The younger rushed inside, not even giving time to his friends to notice his presence as he was already in front of the reception asking for his girlfriend's room
"I'm sorry sir, right now Park Soomin can't recieve visits. She just gave birth and—"
"I'm the father, I'm Yang Jungwon and I'm her fiancè" the receptionist nodded and called a nurse to guide him
Looks like his name was more useful than what he thought
"Jungwon!" Sunoo waved his hand after noticing his presence in front of the door
"Congratulations Jungwonie" his friends gave him all a pat on the shoulders
Jungwon was only growing more nervous
"Where's Jay-hyung? I need to ask him something"
"Jay-hyung is inside. Now go, you don't want to see your child?" The boy took a deep breathe and held the doorknob tighly before twisting it open

i wonder what's gonna happen next 👀 yes double update for this week cause next week i'lll be pretty busy with exams and all this things this was supposed to be an update for jungwon's birthday but i forgot to publish it before 🥲 nevermind, here it's still not midnight so i'm still in time ! happy 18th birthday jungwon, wish you all the happiness in the world <3
