"I can't do it" his grip on the doorknob loosened as he leaned on the wall while shoving his face in his hands
"What do you mean you can't do it? It's your child, and you were so excited to see her—" Heeseung covered Sunghoon's mouth after he accidentaly spilled the beans
"Huh? What did you say Sunghoon-hyung?" Jungwon raised his head with his eyebrows crashing
"Her?" The five glared at Sunghoon who just gave them an apologetic smile while scratching his nape
"S-Soomin obiviously! We were talking about her! I bet you missed her?" Ni-ki tried to correct his friend
"Guys- oh Jungwon..." Jay closed the door behind himself and patted his shoulder
"I was about to ask them if you were coming but I guess I don't have to" the older gave him a little smile trying to cheer him up
"Soomin is sleeping right now, I'll leave so that you can see the baby alone" the boy glanced at his friends who gave him reassuring smiles
"You can do it choco ball" Jake patted his head
I can do it. Nothing else can go possibily wrong anymore
Jungwon took a hold of the doorknob once again and finally opened the door, closing it behind himself while looking at his fiancèe sleeping peacefully on the hospital's bed
She looked so exhausted and guilt builded inside him since he wasn't even there for her the whole time
He approached the crib beside her bed and stared at his daughter who was sleeping wrapped inside pink blankets like a burrito
She looked so cute
Few movements from Soomin's direction made him raise his head "oh wonie you starled me.." Soomin rubbed her eyes and stretched her arms
"Sorry love" Jungwon sat on the chair beside the bed but his eyes never left their newborn baby girl
"You can hold her, she's not gonna eat you" Soomin smiled while caressing her head lightly
"What if I accidentaly drop her?" The girl chuckled and shook her head
"You're not gonna drop her, she isn't like a piece of cake that it's that easy to fall on the ground. Don't be scared" the Yang bit his lip and picked her up
"She's cute" Jungwon smiled and started rocking her
"Did you.. already gave her a name?" She shook her head "I wanted to wait for you. For now she is the baby Park-Yang"
"also, she looks exactly like you won, she even has dimples"
It felt unreal to see the baby he was waiting for nine months in his arms honestly
"Some names that might suit her.." Soomin placed a finger on her chin while thinking
"There was Soowon, but I don't like it that much now that she's born. Then uhm.... Jungmin?" The two parents stared at her face for some minutes
"Yang Jungmin.." the female nodded "Yang Jungmin! I like that name, how about you?" The Yang nodded as he placed his daughter back in her crib
"It sounds good. It suits her, but why Yang though? We aren't married yet, you still have your surname" she shrugghed and picked the baby up
"I prefer Yang, and it will be easier after we'll get married since we don't need to change her surname" Jungwon nodded again and stood from his chair to kiss her
won approached her and chupped her face "there's a minor here—"
He shushed her "she's sleeping"
"But-" he connected their lips without letting her finish
Don't get him wrong, he just missed her and doing heart-warming actions to make her heart flutter like kissing her lips
He's justified though, he had to stay in China and help prepare a wedding he ran away from with a girl he hated
Jungwon couldn't help but smile as Soomin pulled him close to her by resting her hands on his nape
The male caressed her cheek with his thumb softly, leaving her a blushing mess
The sound of the door opening made the two parents pull away "oops— sorry, we'll leave you alone. Continue what you were doing, we'll visit the baby later" Jake smiled akwardly and stood there on the door with his friends behind as a teasing look builded on their faces
Oh how much they're gonna tease Jungwon for the rest of his life with this episode
He cleared his throat and glared at the six boys "knock next time"
Soomin was already minding her business as the seven started talking about random things in a way to make them forget what they just saw
And when I say minding her business, I mean that she started playing with her baby
"Let's stop talking, I want to see my niece!" Sunoo jumped away from the group of friends and approached the baby who was stretching inside her crib
"This baby is cuter than me, not fair" the said boy pouted while crossing his arms as the rest of the boys circled around the crib to get a look of their niece
"Y'all cloned Jungwon in a small female version or something?" Sunghoon asked shocked by seeing the resemblance with Jungwon and his daughter
"Sunoo-hyung just accept the fact that she's cuter than you" Ni-ki teased Sunoo whilst poking her cheeks "she looks like a dumpling"
Jungwon chuckled at Heeseung's sentence "is that an insult or a compliment hyung?"

aaaaand yes their daughter is finally born ! i think y'all don't like the name cause everyone said they preferred soowon over anything, but hey i'm the author so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
