"Ms.Park and mr.Yang, you have a visit" a nurse informed them before leaving the room after a check-up
"Oh my gosh Soomin, we meet again!" both froze after hearing the voice. How could she even be here?
"I heard you gave birth yesterday, can I see my grandchild?" Mrs.Yang entered inside the room without consent and approached the crib but was stopped by Jungwon before she could even try
"No you can't, we don't consider you her grandma" he glared at her. Soomin only held Jungmin closed to her
"But biologically I'm her grandma—"
"That doesn't count, we can stop you from seeing her since we are her parents" the woman fixed her posture and tsked afterwards
"What do you think I can do to a one-day-old baby?"
"Anything, now go with your own feet before I'll call the security" Mrs.Yang chuckled dryly and shook her head multiple times
"Oh Soomin, you really are evil, aren't you? Before approaching my son, then forcing him to sleep with you and now forcing him of taking care of you two? Didn't you realized that you both are only burdening him?" Jungwon couldn't believe his ears. Was this evil even his mother?
He clenched his fists in order to hold himself back from slapping her
"Go back from where you came. I don't give a fvck that you're my mother, you aren't acting like one" mrs.Yang smiled and approached the bed, Soomin only moved closer to her boyfriend
She wasn't scared for herself, but more for her daughter
"Don't act so selfish Jungwon, let me give a single look—" The boy held her wrist, stopping her from touching his daughter "I called the security" he looked behind her and signaled someone with his eyes
"Mrs, I need to ask you to leave" the security asked but the woman in her early 40s didn't listened "don't force me to drag you outside mrs"
At the end, the security had no other choice but to drag her outside
"How.. did she knew you were here?" Jungwon shook his head multiple times as he shrugghed his shoulders
"I don't know honestly, but the important is that you both are safe" the Yang sat beside her and swung his arm around her waist as he pulled her closer to hug her, which made Soomin's head rest on his shoulder
He isn't gonna let anything happen to his family
"Do you think you'll have to leave again for the third time..?" won sighed "I don't know anything right now. Though I'm sure either her or Cho are gonna come back and not leave us alone. That's why I need to ask you something,"
"I think we need to move..."
"I found a house, it's made for families and it even has a nursery. I know it's hard to move that's why I am not forcing you to" the girl nodded and placed their baby in her crib which was only few centimeters from her bed
"Everything is ok for me, though I grew affectionate to our mansion"
"Are you sure?"
"though I'm not sure myself, I grew affectionate to our house too" Soomin smiled as she watched her phone, giving Jungwon the impulse to ask what the hell she was watching
"What are you watching princess?" Her smile faded as she closed her phone "nothing much, it was just Sunhee sending me a meme" she explained, not sparing a glance to the boy who was already over-thinking and was already doubting if that was even near the truth
It's not like he doesn't trust her, but that type of smile was the smile she only did in one situation,
when she was talking to someone she loves
What if I'm not enough and she's seeing someone else right now?
What if she met someone else while I was in China?
What if he can take care of them better than me?
What if she's only talking to me because we just had a baby?
What if she's waiting for the right moment to leave me for someone else?
So many what ifs flushed in mind like a waterfall and he couldn't stop them
He always doubted if he was enough for her and if she was with him because she loves him
"Can I... see the meme then? It's been a long time since someone showed me one" he saw a hint of panick in her expression, as if she lied and now she had no excuses
"Uhm.... uh..." Jungwon sighed "look, it's ok if you're seeing someone else. I wasn't there for the last three months and it's understandable if you found someone else to take care of you two better than me. Can I at least hear how you met him?"
"What the hell are you saying—"
"I saw you smiling while watching your phone, I saw kaokao talk open and you were chatting with someone. Just tell me and I'll accept that" Soomin started laughing, so hard that it made her tummy ache
"I'm not seeing anyone else, I will never cheat on you, especially after we had Jungmin together. Do you remember the like class I was taking about babies? There I met a boy, he's a year older than us and he and his ex are having a baby together. We're just friends though" the girl explained, yet Jungwon was still insecure
"And did he visited our house?" She nodded, pulling the hood if his hoodie up "only once though"
