Albus POV

I waited in anticipation outside the hospital wing for the whole 5 hours Scorpius was unconscious. What the hell happened to him? Draco rushed into the room, "Albus. Hi. Is he okay? Have you seen him? Where is he?"

"I have no idea. I'm not allowed to see him." I glanced up to see Draco's eyes glistening with tears. That's something I thought I'd never see.

He sat down next to me, exhaling as he did. "Are you okay?" he seemed like he genuinely cared. "Yeah. Much better than Scorpius." anxiety crossed Draco's face. I shouldn't have said that.

"Sorry. Not what I meant. I'm sure he's fine." I reassured. "So... what... happened?" I didn't actually remember that much. It was all kind of overwhelming at the time. It still is.

"Well... I came into the common room because I'd left some books there. When I went in, I saw him covered in scratches. They were all over him. I had no idea what was going on so I just kinda went over there and talked to him. It was more like freaking out if I'm honest. I'm not very good at comforting people."

"Do you know how he got the cuts? Did he... did he do them... himself?" Draco's eyes welled up again. I wrapped my arm around him awkwardly, "No, no, of course not. And I'm not just saying that. Why would he be screaming if he did it himself?" I half-smiled.

"AARGH!" Shuffling. Thud. "OW!" Well, sounded like Scorpius. Draco and I exchanged a glance and raced into the hospital wing.

Scorpius POV

My dad and new-found boyfriend burst into the room. I was on the floor. "Scorpius!" Dad called out, walking over to me, "Are you okay? What happened? Does it hurt? How did you end up on the floor?"

No. Too many questions. Too many questions. She wouldn't like it. She doesn't like it. Who was she? The other girl with the silver-blue hair.

"Ow..." was all I could manage to get out before I passed out. Again.

I awoke again about 2 minutes later, both the boys at the side of my bed. Albus' hand was resting on my bedside table, so I took it. He looked up, "Scorp?" I smiled weakly, squeezing his hand with all the energy I could muster. Not very much.

I stared over to my Dad, who seemed to be examining my body. "Sorry about that. I made a bit of a scene back there." I bit my lip gently, embarrassed. "You think that was a scene? I would've thrown myself off the astronomy tower if that was me." Albus joked. Or at least I thought he was joking.

My head was still pounding; pounding like the beat of a drum. Always in rhythm.

A woman who I barely remembered seeing before strode into the room, carrying a wooden clipboard.

"Your test results have come in Mr Malloy. You don't seem to have anything wrong with you at the moment, which under the circumstances could indicate some sort of... I don't know..."

"Possession." we all turned our heads to see her; the girl with the silver-blue hair. Delphi. Everyone stared in shock, speechless.

"It makes sense doesn't it? The cuts being drawn onto you from the inside, the pounding headache I'm assuming you have, and what's going to happen in about 5 seconds."

"What?" I was cut short by a substance surging up my throat and out of my mouth. I don't even know what it was - toothpaste maybe? No, it tasted off.

This weird foamy stuff had now soaked the bed completely. "That's it. The aftermath of magical possession. That's your body trying to get rid of the last traces of the unwelcome soul."

Once again, everybody lapsed into silence. How did she know that was going to happen? "Look, I know you don't trust me, and your absolutely right about that, but I can help you. I know what's going on and you're going to need me if you want Scorpius to survive."

"Why wouldn't he?" Albus held his gaze at me as he spoke. "I can't say. I can on only tell the person affected." Once more, they all looked. At me.

I thought for a moment, "Maybe you guys should go for a minute." Dad grasped onto my arm, "I'm not leaving you with... her." he glared; she glared back. "Dad just go, I'll be fine. I promise." I smirked a little, convincing him. They all left me with Delphi.
