Shopping was not something that you had much experience with. Your home planet only had a few merchants who you visited, and that was nothing like what was in Canto Bight. Entire stores devoted to a singular type of merchandise, tiny street vendors, shops where you could buy any number of things for any price.

It was overwhelming, to say the least. Especially when all you needed was something that helped you blend into the night crowd and made you look "high class". Which, in your ragged and very worn linen clothes, you currently did not.

So, you hit the streets of Canto Bight in the early morning, Bea deciding to invite herself along. You didn't mind, certainly feeling safer with someone else you knew beside you. And you trusted her to stay on task, even if she was normally prone to distraction.

But so far, you were realizing that you were fairly indifferent to clothing shopping, especially with the lack of luck you seemed to be having. Standing in a small boutique, which was filled to the brim with unique dresses and outfits obviously meant for the tourists going to the casinos and clubs, Bea and you were sifting through the clothes, occasionally pulling out one to ask the other's opinion on it.

"Ooh! Look at this one." Bea pulled out a dress from the rack. Gold, shimmering in the light of the shop, with the kind of cut that was flattering on everyone. It was beautiful but...

"I don't think gold is the right choice." You turned away from her, continuing to thumb through the rack in front of you. "I still want to blend in."

Moving on to the next rack of clothing, you were starting to feel incredibly disheartened by your lack of success. Occasionally you would find a dress that piqued your interest, but the price tag would make it immediately dissipate. You had brought as many credits as you were willing to spare on a single mission, and even that had dipped into your funds quite a bit. And it still didn't seem like it was going to be enough to cover even the cheapest dresses on the planet.

You were examining another dress, trying to decide if you liked it enough to even look at the price when Bea called your name once more from across the shop.

"This is it!" You turned to look at her, before staring at the dress in her hand speechless. It was extremely nice. Too nice, even. Black, with a high neckline and a small opening down the front that would expose your cleavage, the length enough to hide a weapon underneath but not too short to attract too much unwanted attention. You could tell that it would shine under lights, but not enough that it would be distracting.

It was perfect.

And it looked like it was your size.

You quickly crossed the room to Bea, taking the dress from her. Grinning, you examined it closer, noticing small details in the stitching and fabric that would definitely go unnoticed by everyone but yourself. You could imagine yourself in this dress, so beautiful that you would feel dangerous.

But then you caught sight of the price tag, and your smile fell, quickly replaced with a grimace.

"I can't afford that." You held it back out to Bea, but she didn't reach up to take it. Instead she shook her head, her smile remaining on her face.

"I can buy it for you." She said, not looking away from your face, her eyes genuine in their earnestness.

"No, I couldn't accept that-"

"Yes, you can. I'm making you. There's no way that you aren't getting this dress! You'll look like someone who comes here all the time, someone who's probably never even visited the Outer Rim." She pushed your arm away from her, grabbing the dress and hurrying away to the counter before you could react.
