He was a mass of black, blending into the darkness, only the occasional beam of light from the surrounding city illuminating random parts of him. But you knew that even if it was completely dark, even if he wasn't holding your arm in a vice-like grip, you would be able to follow him through it. You didn't know how, but it was like a string connected you to him and all you needed was to simply follow its pull.

Suddenly, he whips around to face you, the momentum of his movement pulling your body with it, sending you off balance. He uses this unsteadiness to push you back against the wall, and you barely manage to stop your head from banging against the stone behind you. You're reminded of sparring with him, being caught off guard and slammed against the ground. And that was when he was holding back.

The movement has you breathless, the situation quickly catching up with you.

Kylo Ren was here, in Canto Bight, along with a (presumably) decent amount of Stormtroopers.

Kylo Ren immediately found you, managing to ruin the first- and arguably easiest- night of your mission with his mere presence.

He has once again claimed his ownership over you, and intends to do something with you in the shadowy corner of an alleyway behind the Crescent Royale.

And you, like a spice addict from the Outer Rim, have relapsed faster than a body hits the ground from a blaster shot to the head.

The warning from the officer who briefed you on the situation echoes in your mind, and you wonder if he's here for the same reason you are. A bit of a conflict of interest, perhaps. You have your duty to the Resistance to fulfill, but you couldn't deny yourself what you've long been aching for.

You didn't want to deny yourself Kylo Ren.

Sure, you could walk away right now, assert your power and leave, using the blaster under your dress if you needed (not that it would realistically do anything). But you were like a woman starved, and now that he had barely touched you, you needed more. You needed to feel him everywhere, and needed him to need you too.

The only thing that gave you pause was the fact that you were in a very public alley in a very busy city. You looked in the direction of the door, knowing full well that anyone could just walk out into the alley. A worker, or worse, another member of the Resistance. The latter was more likely if they realized that you were no longer inside the casino, doing your job. You couldn't even fathom what the aftermath of that would look like, the idea so foreign to you that you didn't think it was even possible.

But then you saw Ada's distrusting face in your mind and remembered Olix's cryptic message about her. Out of everyone in your squadron who could possibly find you out, it would be her. And she wouldn't take a moment to try and understand, she would immediately turn tail and tell everyone.

And it would be your destruction.

"This is dangerous," You whispered, tilting your head back to look into the eyes of his helmet. But he wouldn't be hurt if this went badly, it would be you who would be punished for sleeping with the enemy. Quite literally.

"No one is going to come out."

"How can you know that for su-"

"Because I said so. I would rather kill someone than have this taken away from me again."

He steps away from you for a second, and you almost follow before you can make out his figure in the darkness. And when you hear the heavy thud on the ground and he once again closes the distance between you, you realize you can see, barely, his bare face.
