Lykaia is Eda's oldest and closet friend. They've known each other since they were young and went to school together. She was there when Eda was struck with her curse.

*Disclaimer: I do not own the owl house.* Also i tried to create a single image of what Lykaia look like. This was as close as I could get it. Her outfits will also change from time to time. Onto to the chapter.
"Ahchoo!" Came a loud sneeze, followed by coughing. I sighed to myself as I walked up the stairs, a tray filled with two bowls of soup, medicine and appleblood floating behind me. I opened the door to Eda's room, Inside were Luz and Eda; coughing and sneezing. "Well, it's official. You are both sick." Eda groaned, pulling her blanket over her head. "This is the worst." She groaned and I chuckled. "I told you that running around in the cold and playing in the snow would make you both sick." I sighed, crossing my arms. "And you didn't dry off when we got home. It's no wonder you're both got ill." Luz gave me a pitiful look as I handed her bowl of soup. "Thanks Kaia." Her voice was very stuffy. I handed Eda her bowl. "Try to get some sleep. I'll check on you both later." I left the room and headed downstairs.
I headed into the potion lab to brew more of the remedy Eda and Luz needed but as I was preparing everything I found that I was missing several ingredients. "Oh dear." I sighed, a little annoyed. I went back upstairs. "Eda, I'm missing some ingredients I need. I'm going towards the market." She gave me a shaky thumbs up. "There's more soup on the stove." I said and left.
Bones Burrow Day Market.
I was browsing through the stalls, looking for the ingredients that I needed, mostly animal based ingredients as I had most of the plant based ingredients in my garden. "Lady Lykaia?" I heard someone call out to me; it was Shirayuri and Amity. "Ah Amity, Shirayuri. Out for some shopping?" I greeted kindly. They nodded. "Yes, we're buying some supplies for school projects." Amity replied and Shirayuri nodded. "Well how would you two like to join as I shop for some ingredients." They both had huge smiles as they nodded again. Shirayuri looked down and noticed what I had in my basket. "Are you making healing potions, miss Lykaia?" I chuckled. "Yes, I have two sick patients at home" "Luz is sick?" Amity seemed really worried; that was adorable. "Yes, both Eda and Luz are sick and I don't have everything I need at home." I explained as we continued walking.
We walked along the market as Shirayuri and Amity chatted about my upcoming career as their new healing track teacher. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw something white and gold. Turning my head slightly, I saw a familiar figure watching us; it was the golden guard. Both girls didn't notice him...probably for the best, no need to draw attention here. "Girls, it's getting close to lunch time. I'm sure your parents are waiting for you." Smiling at the young witches, who realized the time. They pouted, looking up at me, it was really adorable. "Go on, you two. You'll see me soon at school." I waved them off and waited until they were out of sight before I disappeared and reappeared behind the golden guard. "See something interesting." It seems I startled him as he jumped and held his staff at my face, glowing an angry red. "Really? Haven't you learned your lesson yet." I quirked a brow at the younger male witch. "I wasn't spying!" He protested immediately. "I never said you were." I chuckled at him. "So tell me, Golden Guard. What brings you to the market on this fine day." He looked down at the ground and took a deep breath. "I was...sort of...hoping...we could, you know...talk." He was really nervous. I crossed my arms. "Talk? About what?" Another deep breath. "I was hoping to learn more about you and your magic." "Belos doesn't know you're here, does he?" He shook his head. "Well, I have some time." He looked up at me and even though I couldn't see his face, I could tell he was surprised. "Really?" I nodded. "There's no harm in it. Come on."
