Prologue

*The sound of a burning matchstick brings you back to reality, N lights up the candle in front of you and takes the seat that's opposite to you*

*Ahem* (he loudly clears his throat)

N: So.. let's start shall we?

Nathan: Shouldn't we wait for Aiden? And is this really necessary?

N: Of course it is! You need to clear your thoughts, refresh your aura and start therapy.
(He takes a deep breath)
Close your eyes and answer.. (You don't)
So who ARE you and what's going on in your life right now?

Nathan: Well.. I'm Nathan Walker, and my last year of college is just about to begin from this Monday. I have been living with my dorm mates for the past two years and I hope that our last year is memorable as well.

N: Good answer. So about your love life- (A beep interrupts him)
That must be the popcorn!
(He giddily walks towards the small kitchen..
He has always been like this, the life of the party kind of person.. just a warm sunlight, makes everyone smile and always lifts their spirits)
Popcorn! (He presents a bowl)

Nathan: Thank you! (You chuckle)

N: What's so funny?

Nathan: Nothing. It's just like, I know every inch of you..

N: Well hopefully not EVERY inch. (You both laugh)
Well back to therapy.

Nathan: Can we not? Let's just wait for Aiden. He should have been here by now..

N: Okay.. therapy session over I guess. (He plops down on the couch with you, his legs on your lap.
But you don't mind, you are used to it..
You and the other two are very comfortable with each other.
You open your Instagram and scroll through it boringly..)

N: Do you think Liah is stopping him?

Nathan: Maybe.. Is Lukas dating anyone? (You show him the photo Lucas posted)

N: No idea, good for him though. On the topic of love.. How are things with Titli? How was the prom night?

Nathan: It was.. (A mess, a disaster) Good. (It really wasn't)

N: Nice..

{Wait, PAUSE. you probably have no idea who these people are.. I just started the story with no introduction! Where are my manners? *Ahem*
Hi, I'm Nathan Walker, 20 years old.
For the past two years I have been living with
Endrik Rebane known as "N" and Aiden, well Sora Kinoshita or Kinoshita Sora when placed traditionally. Both 20 and 21 respectively. Today is Saturday, August 19th 2017. and the 3rd year of college starts on Monday. Us three decided that we should hang out and release our stress before it all begins.. but Aiden is late..
Must be because of Leah Jones, she's one of the richer students. They started dating last year and..)

Leah: Aiden god you are embarrassing me!

Aiden: By.. playing beer pong?

Leah: On prom?

Aiden: What's wrong with that..?

Leah: Well I could tell you but you'd never understand.. just leave it.. (she walks away)

Aiden: Wait Leah?! Leah!

(Yeah… that happened on Prom Night.. they are just.. not for each other.. Well Aiden isn't for her..
Talking about couples, Endrik dated Lukas Rodriguez in the first year.. but they had a fall out. Now that I think about it, N never told us the reason. But they are pretty mature about it..
N has always been the fun type. The heart of our group.
He's carefree, chill but loyal, and also openly gay. He doesn't care about what people say and I really admire that..
Aiden is in the football team, totally a jock. If you mix a bear and a puppy, you'll get Aiden..
Nice, kind, innocent but really strong. Probably the muscle of our group. Just a big ol' himbo all around.

Both are really open and extroverted.. I on the other hand..
always have been a loner, intelligent type, with a mysterious demeanor and killing smokey looks of course, the brains of the group..
Not really open but somehow N and Aiden broke down my walls. And if you are wondering about my love life.. well not a lot of people approach me, other than..)

Titli: Hey Nathan! (You look up from the book you are buried in)

Nathan: Hey..

Titli: What are you reading?

Nathan: Physics.

Titli: Cool, uh uhm.. wanted to ask. Are you free for prom?

Nathan: I am. (She gasps)

Titli: Cool! Wanna be my date?

Nathan: Sure, why not.

Titli: Great! Now we gotta match outfits..

(Oh!- her name means butterfly in Hindi, cool right? God I'm getting sidetracked.. Anyways!
Titli has been the only one wanting to date me.. but she can tell that I'm not interested..
Not that I don't like her.. Let's just say I'm confused about my sexuality..
For most of my life I thought I was Straight, I have kissed girls before and honestly, they don't do it for me so I thought I was gay.. but not much feelings there as well, I mean.. I find guys hot and pretty but nothing.. sexual?.. So, I labeled myself as asexual and aromantic but didn't tell anyone..
But even those labels are not what I think I am..
Since.. N and Aiden.. they both are so special to me.. I think about them when I'm alone, and on this summer break I just wanted to see their faces..
I know I know, you might think that having feelings for both of your roommates is not a good idea and you're probably right.. I don't want to mess things up.. so I keep things to myself..
But this is the last year, it was about to change my life..
