A Different Kind Of Love Triangle

Chapter 1: Endrik Rebane.

*Phoo!*
(With a big blow I blew out the candle, N immediately looked up at me.)

N: Why did you blow it out?! It was to lift our spirits!

Nathan: And for that I need the ceiling fan.
Now get up- (I pushed his legs out of my lap and stood up while he fell on the floor with a small thud)

N: Ouch. (I pressed the switch and turned the fan on)

Nathan: Ah, finally some relief.
(With that I shoved some popcorn in my mouth as N stood up)

N: Uhm, I just fell on the floor?

Nathan: Aw, did you get a boo boo? Do you need me to put a bandaid on it? (He rolled his eyes)

N: ...Would you? (He tries his best puppy eyes on me as I laughed)

Nathan: Never change.
(N perked up as usual, grabbed me and forced me to sit on the couch with him)
On that note..
I have been curious about this..
What were your first thoughts about me?

Nathan: Oh..? let me think.

N: Do you even remember how we met?

Nathan: Of course I do!
(With that I started to go back in time, reviving my memories..
It was a cloudy morning, I was running through the campus, I was late. My luggage slowed me down a little. The campus was bustling with students..
A passerby saw my confused ass and came to me)

Student: Uh.. do you need any help?

Nathan: Yes! (I said as I tried to catch my breath)
Can you tell me where this would be?
(I showed him my dorm room number)

Student: Oh this would be in that building (He shows me the path)
A little late for settling in, isn't it?

Nathan: Yeah, I know. Okay- thanks, bye!
(With that I ran to my dorm.
After climbing some stairs I opened the door to find.. a surprisingly clean dorm)

"Toodles!" (A voice startled me)

Nathan: Oh- (I looked towards the source to see a red head, slim and cute guy standing in the small kitchen area)
Hi..

Ah, finally you're here! (He wiped his hand on his apron and presented it to me)
I'm Endrik Rebane, but you can call me "En"

Nathan: Spelled.. E N ?

N: No, Like the letter N. It's just a quirky way to spell it. (I shook his hand)
And you are?

Nathan: Nathan Walker.

N: Ooh, that sounds badass.

Nathan: Thanks? (I noticed a rainbow pin on his blue T-shirt but didn't say anything about it)
So.. Would it be just us two?

N: Oh no no, We are supposed to have three, so we were pretty confused when one didn't show up.. I thought you were kidnapped! (I chuckled)
You're a bit late-

Nathan: I know, I know. And I only have like a day to settle!

N: Well.. (He grabbed my arm and led me towards the small dining table and pushed me into the chair)
Your energy is all messed up! Take a breather.
Like this.. (he inhaled and exhaled, and so did I)
Nice, I made some cookies, so eat them and don't worry about settling in, I would help you.
And Aiden wouldn't mind either.

Nathan: Aiden?

N: Oh, our third roommate.
He is.. pretty buff.

Nathan: And.. Where is this Aiden guy?

N: Probably practicing, he is on the football team.
If not there, where would a buff guy be? A gym.
(I chuckled and took a bite of one of his cookies)

Nathan: Oh wow- this is really good!

N: Thank you! My grandma's recipe.. before..
(A somber expression creeped in on his face)

Nathan: I'm so sorry for your loss.. (I tried to console him)

N: What? No- She isn't dead!

Nathan: I'm SO sorry. I thought-

N: It's okay, (He laughed)
She just hasn't talked to me in a while.

Nathan: Why? If I may ask..

N: Uh well, I'm like... gay.

Nathan: Oh-

N: Yeah, hopefully you're not Homophobic.

Nathan: Fortunately I'm not.

N: Thank God, I was really scared..
So yeah, my parents support me but the rest of my family back in Estonia is not really happy since I came out.

Nathan: Sorry to hear that.

N: It's fine, I haven't visited them in a while.
(He puts on a big smile again)
Enough about me, where are you from?

Nathan: I'm from Michigan.

N: Michigan? I've always wanted to visit the lakes!
How many times have you visited them?

Nathan: My whole childhood basically, my friends.. well. Not really "friends", But we would go to the lakes to hang out.
Honestly? Got kinda bored of them.
(He gasped)

N: Well, now I know someone from Michigan. You gotta take me there.

Nathan: Deal.
(I always have been a little.. shy, a little to myself.
But he made it really easy to open up to him..
He just had this inviting aura, a peeking sunshine on a rainy day that created the perfect rainbow.
No pun intended.
A doorbell brought me back to the present..
N giddily opened the door clearly expecting Aiden)

N: Oh- It's pizza. Nathan, pay him.
(He picks up the boxes and heads to the kitchen as I rolled my eyes and paid the delivery guy. After saying a "Thank you" I closed the door.)

He was kinda cute wasn't he?

Nathan: The delivery guy?
I don't know, I didn't look at him that way.

N: Well duh, you're straight.
Or are you? DUN DUN DUN. (He says dramatically, I chuckled)

Nathan: Well on that topic.. How was your trip to Estonia? It was your first time visiting since you came out right?

N: It was… fine.. I guess, I survived the casual remarks. I see that as a win.

Nathan: And your grandma?

N: Still didn't say much.. well unless we are counting the homophobic stuff.
(He was clearly upset and I didn't wanna press him more on that topic)

Nathan: So.. the delivery guy.. (He raised an eyebrow)
How much would you rate him out of 10?

N: Oh he was a solid seven!

Nathan: Just seven?

N: Maybe it's the delivery outfit, if he was out of it he would go to eight or nine.

Nathan: Out of it as in.. naked or in his regular clothes?

N: Both, but if naked.. (He dramatically gets in a daydreaming pose)

Nathan: Back to earth Mr.Rebane (I snapped my fingers)

N: Ah, what a beautiful dream it was.. before you interrupted it!
(We both giggled, suddenly the doorbell rang again)
Oh that has to be Aiden, go open it!
(With a smile I opened the door to see him standing with his usual stance, eyes as sweet as I remembered and body as fit as I remembered.)

Aiden: Nathan!
