Chapter 19: Distance.

September 18th 2017, Monday.

(It was around four pm..
It had been only a few minutes since I entered the dorm.
Aiden was out, attending practice like he usually does..
And here we were...)

"Ah- Nathan"
(N exclaimed.
The bed was rocking as he rode against me.
I tried, I really tried not to do this.
But as soon as his lips touched mine again,
I forgot everything...
Both half naked, both moaning each other's names.
I don't know how long it was, for how long I kissed him, for how long how I felt him..

Soon I found myself sitting on the couch, contemplating what happened..)

N: Do you want to shower?
(He asked me as he got out of the bathroom, patting his hair dry with a towel)

Nathan: We can't keep doing this..
(N's content expression faded away, with his eyes down he sat next to me as I continued)
I'm sorry.. I'm sorry if it felt like I used you.
But we can't keep doing this..
(My heart that still longed for Aiden didn't want to continue, but the heart that wanted N was probably shattered as I said these words)

N: ..Is the sex bad? I can fix it-

Nathan: No- No.. You're.. Great. Like really great-

N: So..? What's the problem? (He asked, innocently confused)

Nathan: I..
(Do I tell him I have feelings for someone else? But who?..
In the process of deciding what to say, I was silent.
So.. he filled out the gap with a question)

N: Do you have.. feelings for Titli?
(He couldn't be more wrong but I kept my silence)

I knew... I am sorry, I shouldn't have kissed you today and.. that day..

Nathan: I guess...?
(God I felt awful for lying. Uncharacteristically, he chuckled)

N: I never thought someone would have pity sex with me.. first thing for everything, Am I right?

(He asked tearfully..
But before I could answer the door swung open.)

Aiden: Good evening you two.
(He said as he recklessly put down his backpack on the table.
N covertly wiped his tears away)

N: Good evening! (He said with his usual smile and preppiness.)
How was your day?

Aiden: As usual, but I think I kicked someone in the crotch.
(He laughed and checked the cabinets)
Are we out of cereal?

Nathan: And milk with few other things.
I was gonna get groceries but..
("I got carried away with N")
I Forgot..

Aiden: That's fine, I was going to get some medicine for my sore throat anyway. So I'll get the items.
Do you guys wanna come?

Nathan: I am kinda tired-

N: I'll go. I want some.. fresh air.

Aiden: Okay. (as N put on a jacket, Aiden grabbed some money.)

Nathan?-
(I immediately looked at him, and I think that made him flustered because he looked away before I could even look him in the eyes)
Uh- Message me what we need.

N: Bye Nathan..
(With that both of them were out of my sight..
And maybe that was for the best.
If I want to avoid the awkward longing looks that they will give me.
I decided to make things normal again..
"I'll have to create some distance..")
