(After a long journey, we finally climbed down the godforsaken van I now have beef with after sitting in it for so many hours.
With a groan I stretched my back as Aiden was pulling our luggage out.)

Nathan: One more minute and I wouldn't have been able to feel my legs.. (N chuckled)

N: My butt feels numb as well.

Zoe: Are you sure that's not from last night? (N's eyes went wide for a second but he giggled and the rest of us joined as well)

"Zoe! Nathan.."
(A voice called out from behind us and we turned to see my Father coming out of the house and towards us)

Zoe: Dad! (With a yelp of joy she ran to him and gave him a big hug)

Philip: How's my dear doing?
(He said as he held her tightly)

Zoe: I'm good.. I missed you guys, where's Mom?
(She said with a perky attitude, her smile wide)

Philip: Inside.. go meet her..
(With a nod she ran inside, My dad looked at me next as I approached, I gave him a quick hug, still a little nervous about bringing N and Aiden home)

How are you Jedi?
(I chuckled)

Nathan: Good.. but very tired..
(I turned back)
Dad.. this is Aiden.. and this is Endrik..
(He shook both of their hands)

Aiden: Hello Sir.

N: Nice to meet you Mr.Walker..
(Dad seemed pleased to meet them, he saw the luggage)

Philip: Go in, I'll bring the luggage..
You guys are probably tired.

Aiden: No- it's fine..
(He tried to politely decline but Dad just shook his head)

Philip: No need for pageantry. Just go in..
(With that he gently pushed Aiden aside and grabbed 2 bags and walked away back into the house as he was carrying them on his shoulders)

Nathan: He's a bit stubborn.. Just let him do it..
Follow me..
(I lead them into the house, after a small entry where we removed our shoes we went into the living room, passing dad as he went out to grab more bags)

"Nathan! My dear! Oh my you look so skinny!" (I just rolled my eyes with a smile at my mother's greeting, I approached and kneeled in front of her since she was bounded to a wheelchair)

Nathan: It's called being fit mom..
(With a chuckle I gave her warm hug)

Lisa: Missed you so much.. glad to see you're okay..
(She said with a teary expression, I ended the hug and turned back)

Nathan: Mom this is Aiden..
And that's Endrik..
(They both introduced themselves with a little wave but also came close to give my mom a quick side embrace.

We were chatting for a bit till dad came to us)

Philip: You kids should get some rest.
Lay down for a bit..
(He turned to me)
We have a shortage of rooms.. they are okay with sharing a room with you right?

Nathan: Yes dad, they know so don't worry..

N: Mr.Walker, we have been sharing a dorm for about 3 years, we'll manage without any problems..
Please don't worry about the accomodations.
(Aiden nodded his head in agreement)

Aiden: Everything he just said.
(I chuckled a little)

Nathan: We should go get fresh and rest for a bit..

(After a shower I sat on my bed as Aiden and N were talking a quick shower together to save time..
I looked around the room, admiring the fact it was basically the same as I left it..
A faint smile on my face as I saw my childhood cow plushie set atop my dresser.
I stood up and wore some fresh clothes and made my way downstairs again to see what mom was up to)
