N: "You are invited and you're allowed to bring a plus one! Jen the birthday girl. xoxo"
(He reads the DM Jen sent)
What if I don't want to go!

Titli: Would it be that bad?
(Me, N, Zoe and Titli were hanging around next to the campus fountain)

Nathan: No.. I mean Jen is really nice.. and the other girls are as well.

N: Yeah, but I don't want to see Leah.

Zoe: Then don't. I mean.. you are not changing colleges because you see her on the campus do you? So what's the problem with a party? Just ignore her and live your life.

Titli: I agree, I mean if Jen is nice then you should go. (N looks at me, clearly wanting a different opinion that's on his side)

Nathan: N- (My phone rang, seeing it's from Aiden I picked it up)
Hey.

Aiden: Hey.. You are coming to the party right?

Nathan: Well-

Aiden: I know you guys don't really.. fit with them, but Jen really likes you two and.. I would be bored and sad without you two..
So please try to come? And it's COMPLETELY okay if you don't want to..
But still.. And-
(A voice that you can't make out interrupts him)
Okay I gotta go.. Love yo- I- Yeah! Bye roomy.
(He hangs up)

Nathan: Bye..

N: What was he saying?

Nathan: Nothing.. Continuing, I am.. going.

N: You are?

Nathan: Come on, Aiden will be a little at ease with us there. Remember what happened at the last party?

N: Drinks thrown at him because he was playing beer pong.

Nathan: Well yeah- but I was talking about how sad he was after it. (He thinks for a second)

N: Okay FINE, I'll go. But if Leah talks to me I might punch her.

Nathan: Deal, Zoe you coming with me?

Zoe: Skip the first party? No way, of course I'm coming.

N: I'm taking Titli with me.

Titli: You sure? You could take someone you like with you.

N: Ain't got anyone like that, I would be happy if you come though.

Titli: Then I would be happy to. (She smiles)

Nathan: Then tomorrow!

N: Wear your best trendy clothes.

September 2nd 2017, Saturday.

Titli: Damn Nathan.. (She says as me and Zoe arrive at the venue)

Zoe: Looks good doesn't he?

N: Understatement of the century! Look at my boy!

Nathan: Okay enough- (I hid the blush on my cheeks and changed the subject)
Did you guys meet Aiden yet?

N: Nah..

Titli: I saw a glance of him, he looked in a hurry.

N: What's new? With Leah, he's always in a hurry. "Hey baby, can you fetch me a coffee? Double dipped in cheerios" (He says in a valley girl accent, I figure he's trying to mimic Leah)

Nathan: That's.. not how Leah talks at all-

N: That's how I hear it.

Jen: Hi! (She bursts into the conversation)
What are you guys doing at the entrance? Please come inside!
(She led us inside, the mansion was beautifully decorated and much less pink than I thought it would be)
We got drinks, we got food, we got music and we got hotties! (She winks)
