Chapter 14

9 months later

For the past couple of months, Denari and Malik have been officially dating for 9 months, Jazmine and Malik were expecting soon, Tiara finally moved in with Tavon and Laila and Deshaun moved in together. Everything was going well and everyone was happy as can be. But little did the know that their happiness would be cut short just for a while.

"Hey babe" Tiara said as she kissed Tavon on his lips. "Wassup ma?" he smirked as he pulled her onto his lap. "Nothing. I was just thinking about meeting up with the girls" she replied. "Okay" he said. "I can't believe that they are finally together!" Tiara squealed. "Denari and Malik?" Tavon asked. "Yes, she's basically your sister in-law" Tiara said.

"I hear you. But I knew that they were going to end up at some point" Tavon said. "Yeah, they're so cute too. And I love the fact how he treats her well" Tiara said. "Yes, that's my brother for you" Tavon smiled to himself. "Anyways, I gotta go. Bye and I love you" Tiara said before she placed a kiss on his lips.

Denari was busy finishing up some work in her living room when she heard a knock on her door. She peeped through the peephole to see Malik. "What are you doing here?" she smiled. "Good morning beautiful" he smiled as he kissed her cheek. "What's this for?" she blushed as he handed her a bouquet of white roses which were her favourite. "I'm taking yiu out" he said.

"Malik, it's 9:00 in the morning. Where could we be possibly be going? And plus, since you're my boss, I have work to do" she said. "Well work can wait" he said as Denari scoffed. "Whatever you say" she said. "You really need an upgrade don't you think?" he asked. "What's wrong with my apartment?" she asked getting a bit offended.

"Don't get offended baby girl. All I'm saying is that you might need a fresh start. You know, a new beginning" he said. "What are you proposing?" she asked. "We're going apartment shopping today" he said. Denari couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Did you just say apartment shopping?" she asked. "Yes. Admit it. You need a good amount of space especially now that you are on your way to becoming a famous psychologist" he said and Denari looked at him confused.

"What are you talking about?" she asked. "Well, the marketing sector is benefiting from your ideas and I know you have a lot of potential. Tell you what, tomorrow you will be joining me to meet some people" he said. "Really? I mean I'm well know already I guess. Because with mom and her fashion business and dad with the hotel chains, it's possible that I'm know already" she said.

"I know that but I am talking about you and not your parents" he said. "Tell you what, I'll go with you tomorrow" she smiled. "Great. Now hurry or we will be late" he said before Denari rushed to the bathroom.

"Wow, this place is amazing" she said in awe as she looked around the aquarium. "You've never been here before?" he asked. "Nope" she said as she watched the animals on display. "It's amazing isn't it?" he asked as she nodded. "It's incredible. Thank you for taking me here" she smiled before she threw her hands around his neck.

"Be careful now baby girl" Malik warned. "What if I don't want to be?" she said seductively. "Well-" he was cut off by his phone ringing. "Hello?" he answered. "Yo, Jazmine's water broke and we on our way to the hospital" Jayden said. "Aite, we in our way" he said before he hung up. "We gotta go to the hospital" he said. "Why? What happened?" Denari asked frantically.

"Jaz's water broke" he said as her eyes grew wide. "Okay let's get going then" she said as she rushed off. He shook his head and smiled to himself. After he finally came to the car, they got in and rushed to the hospital. The others were there already and waiting to hear from Jayden about the condition of Jazmine.

"Hey bro" Denari said as she hugged Jayden. "Hey sis" he said. "So how's Jaz?" she asked. "The doctors are tracking her contractions" he said. "Okay" she said as she sat down beside the others. Minutes turned into hours and they were still waiting to see what will happen. At about 3:00 p.m., the doctor informed them that she was going into labour. Her screams could be heard through the whole hospital and everyone just sat in silence.

Finally, Jaylah Ariah Harris was born. "Oh my gosh! Look at her" the girls squealed. "She's beautiful isn't she?" Jazmine smiled. "Yes she is. A true beauty" Denari said. Jazmine and the baby had to say over for another night just for observation. "Well, bye bye my babies" Denari smiled before she left.

"Can you believe that I'm an aunty!?" she squealed. "Yes, I can. You'll be a great aunty" Malik smiled. "Thanks" she smiled. "You'll be an ever better mother" he said as he rested his hand on her thigh. "Well, aunty is good for now" she said as Malik let out a soft chuckle. "Okay babe" he said before he drove them back to his house. "You wanna stay the night?" he asked.

"Yeah I could do that" she said. They then both went into the bathroom and had a shower together. After they were done, they went into his bedroom and layed in eachother's arms. "I'm so glad that we have been together for 9 whole months now" he said. "Yes, it is amazing isn't it" she smiled before she kissed his lips.

He kissed her back then pulled her onto his lap. She straddled him as she deepened the kiss. He squeezed her ass earning a small moan escaping from her lips. He then started kissing her neck and she couldn't hold back her moans. He then flipped them over so that he was on top. He teased her by playing with her underwear. Every time she thought he was going to make a move, he withdrew his hand from her skin.

Suddenly, a mischievous grin washed over his face.

"Take your clothes off" he ordered as she followed his instructions. He then took of his clothes and waited for her to finish getting undressed. "Arch your back" he said as she blushed. "You said you wanted me to fuck you so do it" he said before she obeyed him. He then unwrapped a condom and placed it over his dick before he slammed into her.

Denari's eyes widened from the sudden impact. Her breathing became heavy as she gripped on to the sheets. She moaned as he sped up the pace. "I'm gonna cum" she moaned. Before he could protest, she was already on his back. "What if I had said no?" he chuckled. "I would still find my way up here" she smiled. "O hear you" he said as he had no choice but to carry her to the shower.

They had a bath for the second time before they went back to bed. "Good night babe" she smiled. "Good night baby girl" he said before he pecked her lips. "I love you" she whispered. "I love you too" he smiled. About a minute later, they were both asleep in eachother's arms.
