Chapter 16

After Malik dropped her home, she went and got ready to spend some time with Jazmine. She was also going to pick up Laila and Tiara who were also coming. When she was dressed, she grabbed her keys and went straight for Tiara's place first. "Hey girl" Tiara smiled as she hurried into the car. "Wassup ma?" Denari greeted.

"Nothing much. Just that Tavon just bailed on our date night to hang out with the boys. And the strangest thing is that he said it was "urgent". I mean, what's going on?" she said. "Girl, I don't know what to tell you, honestly" Denari said as she pulled off to go for Laila. A few minutes later, they pulled up to her house.

"Hey guys" she smiled before she got in. "Hey boo. Wassup?" Tiara smiled. "Nothing much just here" she smiled. "We all good? Can I pull off now?" Denari asked. "Yeah, you can" Laila said. "Aite" Denari said as she pulled off. They listened to some music on the way as well as picking up some Popeye's for Jazmine. As they  pulled up to Jayden's place, they saw him getting into Malik's car.

They got out and walked towards the door. "Hey guys" Jayden smiled. "Hi" Denari said. "We'll be back soon okay?" he said. "Okay" Tiara said before they went inside.

Malik noticed how the girls were upset about them having to leave especially at this time. "The girls are upset" he said. "I know that Tiara is. I had to cancel on date night tonight and boy was she pissed" Tavon said. "Yeah, Laila barely said a word to me when I told her that I had to leave" Deshaun said while rubbing his head.

"What about Jazmine?" Tavon asked Jayden. "Well, she told me that I must have a good reason to ditch her like that after she just gave birth to our baby" Jayden replied. "Damn" Tavon said. "It's cool tho. I told her that it was important and I had to sort it out before things got worse" he said. "Well, after she confronted me, Denari basically asked me if I was crazy then told me to drop her home so that she could go and stay with Jazmine" Malik said.

"Damn, she's pissed with you man" Tavon said. "Yeah and I don't like that at all and this bitch just put me and my girl in some issues" Malik said. "Relax man, she wants to see us, she sees us. She needs to know that we need a damn break from her and that she needs to get a damn man" Jayden said. "I think you're the one who needs to relax Jay" Deshaun laughed. "Whatever man" Jayden chuckled.

After about 30 minutes, they finally reached the destination. It was just like she said. It wasn't any big thing, it was just right. "Boys, so glad you could make it" Taylor smiled. "What do you want?" Malik said as he smile dropped to the floor. "I just missed all of us being here together" she said. "You lost all of those privileges when you cheated on me" Jayden growled.

"I'm sorry Jayden. But believe me, I really do want to be with you" she said. 'Is this girl serious?' Malik asked himself as he tried not to laugh. "Why do you look like that Malik?" Taylor asked. "I just want to know if you hear the shit that keep coming out of your mouth. You sound like a dumb bitch who doesn't know when to stop. You obviously called us over here for nothing just as an excuse to make our girl's jealous" Malik said as Taylor's jaw dropped.

"It's not like that" she said trying her best not to fall through. "You think I'm stupid? You wanted to get back at them for the other day when they embarrassed you. You a sick bitch and you need to relax. And for your information, you were never my friend" Malik said before he turned to leave. "I'm ready" he said as he walked to his car and the others followed. Taylor stood there on shock as she couldn't believe that Malik saw right through her.

"Hey guys" Jazmine smiled softly. "Why were crying? Is something wrong?" Laila asked worriedly. "I wasn't crying" Jazmine lied. "Yeah cause your eyes are just naturally red" Laila said sarcastically. "What's wrong boo?" Tiara asked. "I'm just so upset that Jayden would leave me like this and knowing the fact that I just delivered his fucking child two days ago!" Jazmine yelled as she broke down.

"Where's the baby?" Denari asked as Jazmine pointed towards the living room. Denari bent over the play pen and took up Jaylah. She rocked her as the others were trying to calm down Jazmine. "I mean, he isn't going to want me after this because my body has been damaged by his child and I just can't deal with all of this stress" Jazmine cried. Then it his Denari. Jazmine was showing signs of postpartum depression.

"Jaz? Jaz!" Denari called. Jazmine looked at her with pleading eyes. "Here's what we're going to do. We will stay with you and ensure that you and the baby gets a break before we can bring her outside" Denari said. "Thank you guys so much" Jazmine said. "No problem hun" Tiara smiled. "Anyways, let's get you fixed up cause you looking like a hot mess" Laila said as Jazmine giggled.

They helped her bathe herself and helped her pick out her outfit as well as feeding Jaylah and putting her to sleep. They soon after all fell asleep. A few hours later, the guys came back and were surprised to see that Denari's car was still there. They then all decided to go in and see what they were up to. Jazmine fell asleep on the sofa and the girls were looking after Jaylah and getting the place together.

"Hey guys" Jayden said as Denari glared at him. "What?" he asked. "I swear, if you wake the baby up or Jazmine, I'mma fuck you up. Now be quiet" Denari whispered angrily. Malik couldn't help himself. He found her so cute when she was angry. "What's so funny?" she asked. "Nothing" he said still smiling. "Whatever" she said before she walked off. And as planned, the baby started crying but before Jazmine could get up, Tiara already had the baby in her hands.

"It's food time" Tiara cooed as she brought her to the kitchen. Jazmine had pumped some milk for her already before she fell asleep. So Laila warmed up the milk while Denari ensured that her cleaning station was packed and ready. They guys watched them as they all took care of Jaylah and they admired them for it. It was like their mother instinct took over even though they weren't parents themselves.

Suddenly, Jazmine woke up and started searching for Jaylah. "She's right here mama" Denari said as Jazmine calmed down. "I can't thank y'all enough for doing all this which you never had to" Jazmine said. "Girl, you tired as hell and we were to let you take care of this baby and this house all by yourself?" Tiara asked. "No" Jazmine replied. "Exactly. Now sit your ass down and relax for a bit. You just have birth. Your body needs time to rest hun" Tiara continued.

After everything was done, the others said their goodbyes and headed home leaving Jayden and Jazmine. This was only the beginning of new experiences.
