(Sophia's POV)

Everything had happened so fast. I was blinking and found myself locked in handcuffs. The cold metal bending and clicking to fit a monster of my size.

"Sophia!" Mike yells as I'm pushed into a car "What the hell is going on?!"

I sigh, looking out the window at him, my face calm as the blue and red lights flash around the quad. Randell's hand lays against the window for a moment, staying just long enough to leave a hand print before the car moves, taking me away from the school and Randell's concerned face.

I look back quietly, watching them load the female into an ambulance before I turned around again. My eyes lingered just a bit, taking in the larger frame of a male before he was hidden behind the gates of the school.

(Mike's POV)

"Sophia!" I yell, watching them handcuff my friend "What the heck is going on?!"

"Sir please stay back!" Campus security says, pushing both Randell and I back into the quad.

"But that's my friend!" I argue again but stop when I feel a second set of hands on my arm.

"Mike." Randell says softly "Maybe we should let them work."

"But Sophia's being arrested Randell!" I snap back, instantly regretting it as he flinches, stepping back from me once again "I'm sorry." I sigh, running a hand over my eye and grab my horns as I tried to make heads or tails of this thing.

What the hell happened?!

(Sophia's pov')

I kept my head in the car, looking out the window in silence as the radio echoed with orders every few minutes. I also knew that my parents would be contacted as I was fifteen and not a legal adult, and then my father would call my phone, thinking this was some sort of twisted joke and would freak out when I don't answer as my phone was still in my room and my mother would get involved in this and everything would go down hill from there. The fact that I had gotten into this whole mess wasn't the thing that stung the most but that my life, my free life, free from my mother, my family would be over before it even started. Mother would storm onto the campus, screaming like a wendigo and everyone would know I was a Sullivan and not a Jones.

"Alright, lets go." the first officer said as the car comes to a stop and the door opens. I carefully step out of the car, ducking my head so I wouldn't hit it on the way out and look up at the large building in front of me. It was fairly plain, brown bricks, windows on the top floors and a single door in the middle with the hospital logo in large black letters. The door slams shut as we walk to the front of the building and I flinch as the front doors open, blinding me with more lights than I'd expected to be on at three am, but my eyes slowly adjusted and I stopped at the front of the desk as the two officers exchange words with the receptionist.

"This the other one?" the female monster asks. I look up to see a bored face, she was some kind of smaller wolf monster, piercing eyes looking at me with no sympathy.

"Yep, has the other male arrived yet?"

"He's in room three, the officer thought it was best to keep them separated given the situation." she sends me another look at the word 'situation' though I wasn't sure what thought was behind it, as I was far smaller than the other male and yet I seemed to have the least amount of injures in the group, or maybe I was the girlfriend that had started this whole thing. Looking from the outside there was a stream of endless possibilities, none of them the truth.

"Take her to bed six, the doctor will be in shortly."

I felt myself being pulled in another direction, the circular room of beds was only partly separated with curtains. I'm placed on the bed, both officers grabbing my arms as they undo the cuffs and re-attach two of them to the bed and another two to my feet. I'm guessing this was the part of the story where they'd ask me what happened.
