Unlike the others, when Pyrrha drank the serum, she didn't feel overwhelming pain or anything like that. Instead, she felt an extreme want to sleep. It was as though her body began to go into deep hibernation, causing her to collapse. As she slept, she began to feel lighter, like all the weight she had ever had during her life was being taken from her. All the fame and aspirations of the people that believed in her weighed her down. It was like what Hawk said when they first met, "When the strong embrace the weak, they eventually crumble from expectation." For Pyrrha, she was close to that crumbling moment. Not only was she the Mistral Champion, but she had also now taken the frontlines against a force that had been the enemy of humanity for longer than she'd been alive for. The entire world's hopes and dreams rested on her and her team's shoulders. The weight almost suffocated her by itself. But when she drank that serum, the "Qlipoth Fruit Juice" as Nora called it. She could feel it flow through her body, for something in such a tiny vial it quickly spread through her body. The first weight to go was at her shoulders, it surprised her, but then the weight on her back was removed. As the serum spread, it kept taking away all the weight of expectations from her body. For the first time in her life, she felt free. After a long while, she lay in a state of complete calm and weightlessness, like she was floating off the ground. As she lay asleep, she heard a voice she recognized, Hawk, but his tone was different. Instead of his usual cold style, he sounded soft and caring. It reminded her of when they spent that night together back at the Branwen camp, a time she surely wouldn't forget.
Hawk: "Pyrrha...I need you to wake up...please."
Hearing his words, her eyes slowly opened. She saw the blue sky above her. Looking over, she sees the rest of her team, as well as V, enjoying breakfast. Slowly getting up, she sees a plate of food next to her.
Ren: "Morning, Pyrrha."
Nora: "Yay! Pyrrha's awake!" Nora rushed over to hug Pyrrha.
V: "It is good to see you awake, miss Nikos."
Hawk: "Pyrrha, it's good to see you're alright."
Pyrrha approaches Hawk as she then buries herself into his chest with a tight hug. He's a bit confused but returns the hug without question. They stay like that for some time, taking the time to match each other's breathing. Even if Hawk was a demon, he didn't want to let go; for him, this pulled him away from the troubles of the world. It was a luxury he didn't want ever to lose. Pyrrha pulls away from the hug and kisses Hawk's cheek.
Pyrrha: "*Whispering* Thank you...for trusting us, for trusting me."
Hawk: "*Whispering* I should be thanking you."
Pyrrha: "Now, I'm starving. What's for breakfast?"
They would spend the rest of the morning talking amongst themselves, mainly about Hawk's declaration of war against practically the entire world. As well as how he would go about it, but he and V assure them that with the power they possess now, it shouldn't be too difficult.
Nora: "Yeah, your right." Summoning War-Cry. "With powers like these were practically unbeatable."
Ren: "I might as well be the one to ask this, but what's Pyrrha's new power?"
Pyrrha: "I, uh, I don't know."
Vergil(mental): "Emotions are sometimes the key to unlocking one's inner potential."
Ren: "That's not a bad idea, actually, Vergil."
Pyrrha: "Who's Vergil?"
Nora: "Oh. He's just the spirit of the Relic of destruction that is inside Hawk's mind as well as being V's grumpy half."
Pyrrha: "I certainly had a long sleep. So what did Vergil say?"
Hawk: "He said emotions are a strong motivator to unlock hidden potential. I find that using an emotion you rarely use is both potent of a fuel source and helps round your personality."
Nora: "Really?"
Hawk: "Trust me, I would've been a horrible leader if I just stuck to my greater used emotions."
Pyrrha begins to focus on her emotions and finds that with this new feeling of no expectations placed upon her. She begins to feel an emotion that her team helped inspire her to see, something she has had in a very long time, Self Confidence. With her being the Mistral Champion, she has never been given a chance to better herself, not her skills but her mentality. But she now has her team, they're going to take on the world together, and she wants to be a part of them not because they need her but because she wants to be with them every step of the way. Her energy begins to surface itself, as a tall shield made of red and gold pure demonic energy forms on her left forearm. In her right hand, a swordspear formed of the same energy takes shape.
Both shield and spear hum and spark with pure energy. Moving with them feels weightless to her, the shield covering her entire body. The spear seems to slice the air itself as it moves, reminiscent of the high-frequency blades Hawk used to wield.
Hawk: "Interesting...block this." Tossing a stone at her. Putting up the gigantic shield, the rock disintegrates as it touches the shield.
Nora: "Woah, Pyrrha, that's so cool!"
Ren: "Indeed, we always kind of thought of you as the shield of the team."
Hawk: "I honestly thought of you more like the heart, but no one ever said a heart couldn't be like a shield."
V: "What interest me most is the Swordspear. It isn't a weapon seen often, and only those who have extreme confidence in their skill can use it. But I would be remiss if I didn't believe you could expertly use such a weapon."
Nora: "Oh! Oh! What're you going to name it, Pyrrha?"
Pyrrha: "Hmm...how about I name them Nameless Champion. The shield being Champion."
Pyrrha taking a stance she lunges Nameless forward, and it shoots the sword head from the spear. Hitting a boulder, the boulder explodes in a brilliant red and gold explosion. The sword head reformed instantaneously.
Hawk: "Pyrrha, that was amazing. I'm happy you're with us."
Pyrrha: "I'm happy as well. How about we have a quick match so that we can all see how much you've improved with your new weapon?"
Hawk: "Alright. Your on."
