It was a cold February morning as Anya walked to school, with her headphones in. This morning it was especially cold outside, it had snow last weak but now there was just ice left. It must have been freezing at night Anya thought but still trying to remember not to lose balance and fall on the slippery ice.

When she walked into the parking lot she saw Ryan, Zoe's ex-boyfriend. He waved at her which was unusual considering he had never paid attention to her even before he started going out with Zoe. But Anya decided to be nice and so she waved back, not thinking anymore of it.

The redhead then saw the Cullens cars park at their usual spot, so she went over to say hi and chat a little with Rosalie and Alice, joke a bit with Emmett and of course talk with her favorite person Jasper. 

The in pact that he had on her life after only knowing him for about a month was insane. But she was really happy about it.

"Hey Rose" Anya greeted as she saw Rosalie get out of the car. The gorgeous blond vampire gave her a smile as she responded with a simple. "Hello Anya"

After getting into a conversation with Rosalie she felt two golden eyes land on her. She turned around two she Jasper. He looked some what happier than he usually did, Anya had no idea why but she liked seeing him happy.

"Mornin'" He greeted with a strong southern accent. Rosalie stood ready to catch the redhead who was about to faint. But somehow she manage to stay on her feet.

"Good morning" 

Anya started walking towards him so that they could have a proper conversation, without the other curious Cullen's hearing everything like they were a part of it. But what Anya didn't know was that they could do that anyways.

After three long lessons it was finally lunch. 

Anya was walking trough a corridor to go to the cafeteria, where she sat with the Cullen's. That's when she get again saw Ryan. He stood by the door to the cafeteria, as if he was waiting for her. It made her slightly uncomfortable but she figured that it was just a coincidence, she really did hope it was. Ryan had always felt very... creepy. He was kind of weird. But Anya guessed that's what happens when your smoking pot every five minutes. 

"Well hello Aaanaastasia" he said clearly he was a bit stoned but the teachers were to lazy to take care it.

"What do you want Ryan?" Anya questioned him.

"Well I was just wondering one little thing" he said.

"And whats that?"

"I was thinking that you, me on a nice date tonight. Maybe we can chill at my place or maybe we could go-"

"No" Anya interrupted "I don't want to go out with you, I'm sorry but I don't"

"Yea, you should be sorry" He started clearly offended by her rejection "Your really gonna regret this you know, I'm going to make sure of that."

Anya was shocked at the fact that he actually got offended. The only time they had met before was when he was going out with Zoe and that's just a rule of it's own. Don't date your friends ex. And even if he wasn't Zoe's ex, Anya would never have gone out with him.
