Vampires and Major

Jasper opened the door for Anya and led her inside, he was soon going to reveal the truth about him and his family. There was no turning back now, and he didn't wan't it to be either.

The couple walked into the living room seeing almost the whole family seated. Rosalie saw that Anya was with Jasper and immediately made her way over to them.

"Hey Anya" she said as she hugged her friend which caused Jasper to let go of her making her stumble a bit. Rosalie smelled Jasper almost all over Anya, which made her give Jasper a funny look in which he responded with a stare.

"Hey Rose" Anya responded.

Jasper also greeted his family, taking Anya back in his arms.

As they walked trough the house and to Jasper's room they meet Edward in the hallway. He looked over at them, also catching his scent almost all over her.

"I see" he mumbled with a grin on his face.

"Are you going to tell me what's going on?" the now not so dizzy girl asked.

"Of course love" he calmly said, sitting down on his couch along with Anya "So... basically, me and my family are... vampires." Jasper quietly said, seeing Anastasia's jaw drop.

"You okay?" he asked worried. At the moment all he could sense was shock. She was to stunned to say a word but not out of fear.

She knew he wasn't lying, not only could she tell but when she thought about it, it made sense. They were pale, ice cold, never eating, super fast and their eyes were either gold or black. How couldn't she have thought about something like this earlier.

"I-I eh, you promise that you're not joking"

"I promise"

After a few minutes of silence and a lot of thinking from Anya's side she regained her ability to speak again.

"That's why you're eyes change color right?" the girl asked the vampire next to her.

Jasper chuckled slightly, relived that she took it so... calmly "Yes, it is"

"Like what does it mean?" she then asked.

"My eyes are light when i'm full or calm and dark when i'm thirsty"

That made Anya remembered like the main thing about vampires, they drink blood. Surprisingly it didn't scare her. She figured that if they hadn't hurt her before why would they do it now.

"Oh"

"Are you scared?"

"No"

"Why?"

"Because I know that you won't hurt me" She said, he knew she didn't lie about not being scared, he felt that she wasn't "But is it true that you drink blood, like human blood?"

"Yes, we drink blood but not from humans" he explained calmly "We only drink the blood from animals"

"Do all vampires do that?"

"No, we see ourselves as some sort of vegetarians"

"That's kind of the opposite but okay" the girl said causing Jasper to laugh slightly.
