Golden (Jasper Hale x OC)

Many questions and many answers

Jasper sat in his room with a book in his hand, not really reading it. He just sat there thinking, staring at the pages filled with meaningless words. That was until he heard a knock on his door, it was Emmett.

"Can I come in?" he said, more serious than usual.

"Well, it's not like I could stop you." and with that said he entered.

"Look, Jasper I just wanted to say I'm sorry about earlier" he begun "I should have known better"

"It's all good, no one got hurt" Jasper replied, now looking down at the floor.

"So, your quite fond of her aren't you?" Emmett then said, completely changing the subject to a more amusing one for himself. Questioning his brother on his love life wasn't something he'd had the pleasure to do before.

"Well, more than quite I would say" Jasper said putting his book down.

"I think she's good for you, I mean I've known your some time now and you seam a lot happier"

"I am"

"It's true! you really do" Alice said as she danced into the room, having overheard their conversation "And it's only gonna make you happier, I've seen it."

"Do you mean that she's my bloodsinger?" Jasper asked, interested in what his sister had seen.

"Yes, and if things go the way I've seen them you'll spend eternity together." the pixie girl said, dancing out of the room again, amused by the smile on Jasper's pale face.

Emmett left as well, together with Simon to go hunting. Jasper who had already hunted was heading to Anya's house as he'd promised her.

He was on his way out when Esme called his name "Jasper, where are you heading to?" she asked, having already guessed the answer.

"To Anastasia" he said before saying goodbye and speeding of.

Anya was sitting in her bed with a bowl of popcorn and watching TV when she heard something outside of her wide opened window, and before she could even get up Jasper was in her room.

"Hi Jasper" she said making room for him next to her.

"Hey" he said as he sat down next to her.

"So, I have questions for you"

"I figured you'd have"

"Did you just jump up and trough my bedroom window?"

"Yes, I did" he said, chuckling.

"Okay, so can you turn into a bat?" Anya said, making Jasper laugh.

"No I can't and I can't fly either" he laughed "So what are we watching?"

"Friends of course" she said.

Anya was quiet for a while, thinking of things she needed to know about him and vampires in general.

"What happens if you eat normal food?" she then asked.

"It tastes like dirt and we also can't digest it" he answered.

"So yesterday when you ate with me, how I mean is it?-"

"No, we have to get it up somehow by throwing it up" he said simply.

"How about the sun, don't vampires like burn up or something?" this question made Jasper laugh a bit, he had never opened up and told any human what he was before so Anastasia's many questions was something he found very entertaining to answer.

"Not exactly" he said.

"Then what happens, do you turn into ash? I've seen that in movies" the girl then said, making Jasper laugh even more.

"We don't do that either" he said stroking her hair gently, he wanted to be near her and touch her but he didn't trust himself enough right now "I'll show you the next time it's sunny outside"

"Is it hard for you- I mean to be near me sometimes" she said at Jasper's carefulness "It seams so.

"Sometimes..." he said "But it's all on me, I'm not as strong as the rest of my family, I've not been without human blood for so long"

"Oh okay" she said, there were a lot of things she didn't really know what to say to "You didn't answer my question earlier today" she then said.

"Which one was that?" Jasper said back.

"About how old you are, you just told me that vampires are immortal and nothing else"

"Well, I'm way to old for if that's what you mean" he laughed.

"Your not"

"I was born in 1844" he then said.

"18- wow that's quite a while ago" she joked making Jasper laugh.

"Well, Carlisle is even older" he said. "he was born in the 1600s, 1640 I think"

"Is he the oldest of you guys?"

"Yes, then it's me then Esme and Simon, Alice and Edward are the same age then Rosalie and lastly Emmett." he explained.

"Okay so when you become a vampire do you get bitten or like die and drink vampire blood? Because I've heard about both or is it neither?"

Jasper was amused but still stunned at her many questions about him and other vampires, why wasn't she scared of him.

"To become a vampire you have to get bitten and have a venom spread trough your body, it's quite painful" he explained.

"Oh" was all she said, yet again not knowing what to say. After not thinking of anymore questions the girls eyes started to get heavy and she laid down near Jasper but not to close, she didn't want to make him uncomfortable. He sensed her carefulness and to reassure that it was fine he moved closer to her. He then focused on her emotions and helping her to fall asleep.

The vampire sat up getting ready to leave, seeing that her next was now in a position that was going to cause her pain when she woke up, so he carefully lifted her head fixing it and then pressing a kiss on her forehead before speeding of since he felt the thirst ache in his throat.

He was speeding trough the forest with only one thing on his mind, her.
