"I don't always have to be"

Anya was running up the stairs as fast as she could to finish getting ready before Jasper picked her up. The stressed girl brushed her teeth while making her bed, brushing her hair while packing her books before finally being done. That's when she heard Jasper's car right outside her house. She rushed down the stairs yet again.

"Is it Mr. Cullen's son outside waiting for you?" her mother asked, while sipping on her cup of tea.

"It is. And his name is Jasper, Goodbye mom. I'll see you later" Anya responded while she tied her red converse.

"Goodbye sweetie be safe!" her mother almost yelled while Anya shut the door and ran out to Jasper, where he stood by her side of the door ready to open it for her.

"Mornin'" he said while she got into the car.

"Good Morning" she said.

Jasper parked next Rosalie's red BMW, got over in human speed and opened the door for his Anastasia. Just being with her brought him so much joy. And he realized just how alone he'd been for so long.

Jasper had said that it was okay and manageable for him if she held his hand. She was being careful but not for her own sake. She wasn't that smart, no for Jasper's. She hated it when he'd said that he was a monster. In her eyes he wasn't. So she made sure that she didn't let Major come out or her blood temping him to much.

The two of them walked hand in hand down the hallway only to be separated by the gates of hell, also known as the math classroom. She walked in and he away to his own class.

Anya sat in her usual spot, at the back of the classroom by the window. Their teacher had them solve math problems in groups of two. And of course the students did not get to pick their own partners, the teacher did. Anya was paired with a girl called Jessica Stanley, a girl that gossiped more often than she blinked. She was a bit annoying but still bearable.

The redhead made her way over to Jessica's desk, sat down and took out a pen.

"Hey Ana!" Jessica said, a little to enthusiastic. 'What did she want to hear about now' Anya thought.

"It's still Anya" she corrected.

"I'm sorry, my bad." she apologized "I just need to know one little thing" she then said.

"What thing"

"You and that Jasper guy of course!"

"What about it?"

"Well are together?" she asked.

"Yes" Anya answered unable to hide a smile.

"I knew it" Jessica said "You know whats weird tho, that the Cullen's barely talk to anybody or anything like that and the weirdest out of them all just falls in love with you. And to be honest I thought he was together with Edward, but i'm still glad he isn't, Because that would have been such a shame. I mean he's so gorgeous it's insane. But still I don't know if I would wanna be together with any of them you know because they are kind of incest you know, I mean Rosalie and Emmett are a thing as well as Alice and that Simon guy. It's really like creepy you know. Is that even legal is my big question, you gotta admit that it's weird. Imagine like dating your brother, that's like what is you know. I could never to it, I mean can't you like go to jail for that or something." Jessica continued not realizing that she had insulted all of the Cullen's in front of her until after she saw Anya's face.

"Are you done?" Anya asked and the look on Jessica's face when Anya questioned her was priceless.

"Oh, I-I didn't mean it like that" Jessica nervously said.

"Sure you didn't" Anya said "You know, I always new you were a gossip and that you talk shit about people behind their back but I didn't think that you were actually this desperate and stupid to actually talk shit about Jasper and his family in front me."

"You- You know I didn't mean it like that"

"And if you're interested, none them are actually related. So it's not incest, there not brother and sister actually unlike your parents" Anya finished and then went back to her normal seat and solved the math problems alone, leaving Jessica in shock.

After a few hours it was finally lunch. Jasper and Anya walked hand in hand into the cafeteria to get their trays with food.

Jasper, who obviously didn't eat any normal food just took an apple and a bottle of water. Almost the same as the rest of his siblings, Anya took a bit more food tho, since she needed it. Not that it was going to taste go though.

They sat down at the Cullen's usual table were the rest of them already were seated. Since they were now official they were getting weirder looks then before, but it didn't matter.
