Golden (Jasper Hale x OC)

Wondering

The entire weekend after Jasper had kissed Anya he wandered around in his room, debating whether he should stop his 'Relationship' with the human girl or continue and develop an even stronger bond with her. 

It wasn't whether he wanted or not it was whether he could live with himself if he lost control around her, hurting her or even having her see him in that state. He didn't want to risk any of it happening but Alice had seen her in his path so that must have meant something. Maybe it meant that it was worth overcoming his intense thirst for her blood he thought to himself. 

And it must have been fate that they'd met and get along, not just the two of them but all of the Cullen's. Alice really liked her as well, they had so many things in common such as fashion, hair, shopping. Even Rosalie who was anti every human liked Anya. She had even brought herself to ask Jasper more about her and when she would come over the next time so that she could kidnap her for a while.

All of this made Jasper believe that it would be possible, but in time he still had to tell her just not yet.

Anya was locking for her biology book in her locker but it was kind of impossible since she could barely open it without everything falling out. But somehow she was still able to find it, it was located as far back as it could so the redhead had to carefully remove papers, books, pens and other things to be able to get it out. After that you might think that she would organize everything but no she just tossed it all in. 

Finally closing her locker the redhead turned around to see Rosalie looking at her as if she had just done something crazy.

"Have you ever thought of you organizing your locker?" The pretty blond said leaning against a wall behind her.

"No it's too time consuming" Anya laughed walking over to her friend as they started walking towards biology class.

In biology they almost always worked in pairs and Rosalie who had always been with Edward had now ditched him for Anya.

Even tho Rosalie was anti all humans she really cared about Anya, they were friends and they had fun in class and elsewhere. It reminded her about when she was still human and didn't have to bother about the things she had grown so used too by now

While walking out of the classroom Anya looked for Jasper face which she soon found he stood a bit back from the others. Mostly because being in a big crowd full of humans filled with blood was extremely tempting to him but also he hated crowds. 

Anya and Rosalie walked out together, but Rosalie understood that her friend wanted to talk to her brother so she went to find her own man who was probably waiting by her locker. Anya and Jasper had not spoken since they'd kissed, mainly because it was weekend but still. She had just texted him once telling him that she had been grounded by her parents for not telling them where she was. It was quite hard to argue with them on that one since they had a point this time but she was still mad about it. It had ruined all of her plans, shopping with Alice and maybe seeing Jasper again.

But now they stood facing eachother. 

"Hi" Anya said seeing the gold in Jasper eyes disappearing and turning black, there was just a little bit of gold left in the corners of his eyes. 

"Hello" he answered while fighting his intense lust for both the girl in front of him and his lust for blood. There was so many people in the corridor. Jasper felt like his eyes went red instead of black but luckily they didn't.

Now the two of them stood looking at eachother waiting for the other to speak. None of them knew what to say or do. But after a while Jasper got an idea.

"You know our English teacher is sick so we got free period" he spoke.

"Lucky us" Anya laughed waiting for Jasper to say something more than that. Did he have anything in mind? The girl asked herself, hoping that he did.

"Maybe we could go outside for a while?" Jasper asked feeling Anya filling up with excitement. 

"Yeah that would be fun" Anya said as they started to walk out of the crowded corridor.

Jasper and Anya decided to just go for a walk in the woods. It was the beginning of March and any there wasn't even a tiny sight of spring. After all it was Forks, summer was like fall or maybe even like spring if you were lucky and not to forget it always rained. But today or right now it wasn't, in some magical way. And it was kind of good that it wasn't since Anya and Jasper were outside.

They didn't talk much. 

At all. 

Neither of them knew what to say. The thing that they knew was that they did like each other. Anya had apparently not got that message from Jasper's side when he kissed her, or maybe it was because she didn't know how to act around him now. He didn't know what to say either but he had his reasons and they were not the same as Anya's not even close. 

"Jasper" Anya begun wanting to start a conversation.

"Yes luv" Jasper sliped not thinking about what he had just called her. Luckily, Anya wasn't mad about it, quite the opposite to be honest. It made her happy and red as a tomato but also somewhat convinced that their kiss wasn't just something that happened in the moment.
