The cold fresh air immediately washing over him he opens the door, Sapnap looking up at the sky, jets creating long lines across it. The lines reminding him of scars running across it, out of place, long, and ugly. He chuckles slightly as he look down at his arm, I guess me and the sky have something in common then huh?
He thinks to himself as he quickens his pace, trying to get to the bus stop with enough time to untangle his earbuds.

...

The bus turns the corner, Sapnap speed walking to the door trying to get on the bus before the others at the stop so he could get a better seat. Sapnap nearly froze as he got in the bus, it looked as if the amount of people had doubled, one person to every seat except for two. He took the empty one near the back, plugging in his earbuds into his phone and shuffling his playlist.

Sapnap leaning his head against the window until he felt the shaking of the window, turning to put his head on the bookbag he'd put in his lap. He looked out at the scenery, trying to keep back tears as his thoughts went back to Karl..

How excited he would always be to go to school and get to see Karl again since they weren't able to meet much out of school beside the weekends, strict parents on Karl's part, and Sapnap's dad wasn't exactly someone he wanted Karl and him to be around.

A tap on his shoulder the only thing that brought him out of the thoughts, turning around to face a guy who looked his age, deep emerald green eyes and fluffy dirty blonde hair. Freckles dotting along his cheeks and nose, along with a nose piercing. It taking him a while to realize the guy was trying to say something, taking out his earbuds to hear him.

"-sit here?" He asked, most of the sentence having been cut off by his earbuds. Sapnap nodded and returned his gaze to the outside world, watching as trees and houses began to blur by.

Freezing and glaring over as he felt someone brush up against his side, the boy having turned sideways with his legs in the walkway of the bus in a conversation with someone, having leaned up against him without realizing.
"What the fuck??" Sapnap snapped,
"I'm sorry- I didn't mean to?" The boy said, seemingly taken aback at the others sudden irritation for such a small thing.

Sapnap sent him another glare before turning back around and looking out the window, sighing as Pools by Glass Animals came on, remembering when him and Karl would scream the lyrics to the song in the car. Making a new playlist called; "Karl" and adding all the songs that reminded him of Karl into it, removing it from the playlist he was currently listening to. They were good songs, but a constant reminder of him...

Another tap on his shoulder, Sapnap slightly jumping at the sudden touch.
"We're here." The boy said, Sapnap staring at him expressionlessly before shoving past and walking out the bus, not caring to give a look back, knowing that some stupid hurt look would be plastered all over his stupid face. Sapnap thought to himself, starting to feel annoyed for no particular reason again. As he walked in the school he put his earbuds back in, not really wanting to try and talk with some classmates who would try and be all nice and shit when he really just wanted to be home in bed... or with Karl.

As he walked in the classroom he could feel every gaze on him, his skin crawling as he sat down at his desk.
Why was everyone staring at him? Don't people have better things to do than stare at anyone who walked in the door? Sapnap putting his head down on the desk with a huff, feeling the guy beside him staring more than usual.

"The fuck do you want Schlatt?" Sapnap said as he lifted his head to glare back.

"Meet m' in the bathro'm in between classes." The guy said with a menacing grin, Sapnap couldn't help but feel a smile making its way onto his face, knowing what the guy was known for.
