Chapter 14: morning

The next time I woke up it was morning. Glancing around I was surprised to see mother sitting in a chair nearby."mother?" I questioned sitting up

The second her eyes met mines she smiled and hugged me. "I'm so happy your here little one. You must be hungry so go ahead and take a shower and meet me downstairs if you need help just ask" with that she left making me frown. Why did everything she say seem fake.

Shake that thought away I struggled to stand but eventually did. There was no way I was gonna ask for help. It was bad enough that Rebecca saw my scars. I hated them and the less people who saw the better.

Luckily I remembered how to use the shower and washed quickly before throwing on some clothes that was left out for me. I threw the now wet bandages away before going downstairs. First person I saw was Elijah who sat reading on the couch."lijah can you bandage my wound it got wet in the shower" it was a simple question that he agreed to.

"They will pay for this " I heard him mumble as he bandaged my wound. Sadly I forgot about my scars but he didn't ask about them but I could tell he wanted too."all set" he says pulling my shirt down with a small smile

"Thanks lijah" I turned to leave only to bump in Kol and Fin who looked stared at me like I was going to just disappear before there eyes.

"Kol?fin" I questioned looking at them confused

It was like a switch went off and they both hugged me.

"Your alive" Fin mumbled in tears.

"Your never leaving my sight again" Kol added on

"As much as I love you both but I'm hungry " I complained making them pull away and look at me amused before Kol literally dragged me to the kitchen sat me down and grabbed a sandwich from the fridge.

I couldn't help but groan " please tell me your not gonna baby me, Rebecca has done that the second she has seen me" I complain giving him an annoyed looked

"You do realize the whole family is going to do that right. We thought you were dead" Kol sat in front of me just as the rest of the sibling entered the room

"We are not keen on loosing you again" Lijah piped in giving me a stern look

"Coming In wounded like you did last night didn't help your case."Rebecca says glaring at her nail."with that being said I say we pay our friends a visit unless your still keen on those filthy hybrids of your" she snapped turning her glared to Nik

He glared back before glancing at me"there not worth his life being in danger. They need a little lesson" he agreed

"Lesson" I questioned. I didn't understand what they meant. "Your going to teach them something?" I asked making them all smile at me in amusement

"His not use to everything and I don't want him seeing you guys take a life" Fin snaps giving them a look.

I simply sat there with a frown."your gonna kill them?" I questioned not knowing how to feel about that.

"Don't worry about anything you just rest and heal up" Lijah ordered before leaving the room while everyone else but Kol followed.

"Eat up little witch" he ordered pushing my sandwich closer to me. Shrugging I did as I was asked not wanting to be scolding by anyone. I do know that I'm not gonna be stuck being babysat for the rest of my life. I know they worry but I still want a life and to learn things by myself and I will. Even if I have to sneak out to do it.
