I dreaded today
A new place all alone, I couldn't help but be nervous meeting new people. Early this morning ms. Claire had woken me up and told me to get ready. So that what I did. Took a shower and got dress only to bump into a girl on my way downstairs
"You must be Henrik, I'm Davina. My mom had to leave but she told me to show you around " she wore a big smile and her voice was as soft as she spoke to me
" um sure it's nice to meet you" smiling I grabbed my phone before following her outside. Honestly didn't expect to see so many people walking around
"Those are tourists, lots of people enjoy visiting New Orleans. My mother told me you were a witch so we can stop by the covern if you want." I couldn't help but smile at her. I never met many witches other than my mother and Bonnie. Both were not good enough examples but hopefully I could find an actual teacher
"Can we go now?" I was pretty sure she could tell just how excited I was. Lijah was an ok teacher but it's different learning from your own kind.
I followed her as she walked towards a graveyard which was as weird but I didn't question it. I didn't know much about other witch's so it must be normal
The second we entered the graveyard ms.Claire was the first to greet us. "Great your here. I spoke to the elders about you visiting and something great happened "
I looked at her confused before glancing at Davina who looked just as confused as me we both simply followed ms. Claire into a room where a group of woman stood surrounded by candles
"The time of the harvest is among us. Four girls have been chosen along with an outsider. " a woman began glancing around the room. "This is a great honor and privilege if your name is called please step forward"
"Should I be here" I question ms. Claire who simply smiled at me
"Yes, you are a witch and this is a big privilege so hush "
"Davina, Monique,Cassie,Abigail and last bit not least our guest of honor Henrik Mikaelson "
I watched as the four girls stepped forward yet I stayed out. Something didn't feel right about any of this. They didn't know me plus I was an outsider
"Go ahead Henrik. This is a great learning experience don't you want to learn magic and the history of it" Ms. Claire smiled softly at me before nudging me forward. Everyone was staring at me so I walked forward standing next to Davina who seemed excited.
"This is a great honor and you five should feel proud to be doing this. You will go through trials before being put to sleep for a little while and be awaken as new" I listened to every word she said. Yet I could feel there was something they won't telling us about the harvest. Most of the elders stared at me and I could see the greed in their eyes
All in all I knew I had to call Lijah the second I got home. I didn't feel safe here and whatever they were planning didn't seem genuine when it came to me. I had to get out of here
