"Again Henrik, a vampire will not go easy you, no supernatural creature will. When you strike you have to be smarter, faster and stronger then your opponent " Marcel yelled out running straight at me
I quickly shot my hands out using my magic to throw him back. I didn't let him recover as I used my magic to make anything sharp float my way and aim at him. There was no way he could dodge everything yet I threw them at him stopping them right before the stabbed him.
Looking at him I could tell he was surprised yet impressed with my progress."good thinking"
I couldn't help but smile widely at his praise before quickly putting everything back in place with my magic "well you did say I had to use everything to my advantage "
"True and well magic is a witches advantage . "
Nodding I walked out of the compound with Marcel. "Speaking of witches I had one killed earlier for doing magic and we are going down to check and see if anyone is going to claim her body. "
"Marcel" I snapped glaring at him. I didn't agree with his method of controlling the witches in New Orleans. Yes what they did was messed up but a witches power was a lifeline and I didn't think it was right to punish everyone because of a few bad witches
"We have been over this Henrik they are not allowed to do magic after what they did. Maybe I'll allow them again in a couple of years or so" Marcel didn't care one bit about the witches and it showed. There was nothing I could really do about it so I followed him down the street. It was already night and the first thing I noticed was Sophie Deveraux hovering over the body
"I never said you could move the body" Marcel smirked as more vampires surrounded us. I felt bad know the witch in front of us was someone trying to stop the harvest. She did it for her niece but she was still trying something.
"I'm laying her to rest" she sounded heart broken before she looked up making eye contact with me. Her eyes widen a little bit."your a harvest witch"
I instantly glared her. I hated when others brought up that stupid ritual"none of your business " I snapped walking to stand beside Marcel
Marcel instantly wrapped an arm around my shoulder"he hates anything about the harvest so I'll keep that in the do not disturb pile when speaking to him. " Marcel voice went cold and I couldn't help but feel protected. He was there for me through it all and I was glad he saved me in the end
"Grab the body and let's go" he ordered. Almost instantly did the vampires grab the dead witch and leave. Sophie was crying and begging to put her sister to rest but that was possible. Marcel had made up his mind
"Your a witch siding with vampires, do you feel no shame" Sophie was staring daggers into me and I couldn't help but role my eyes
"Shame? Did your covern feel any shame for what they did to me , Davina those girls, how about your niece?" I questioned. "From what I hear you wanted nothing to do with your covern or magic growing up , your only here because of your niece. If she won't involved you would have left us for dead" with that I turned away and left with Marcel.
"You ok? It was a simple question but I could hear in his voice how much he cared
"It's just another day in New Orleans, imma get home" I parted ways with him knowing a couple vampires would follow to make sure I made it home. I won't in the mood to socialize anymore and was glad Davina was sleep by the time I came back. It was hard sharing a room with a girl but it was easier for Marcel to keep track of us if we were together. Better to be together then apart of the witches ever did find us. Regardless of the fact I was stronger now. I could take care of my own that much I knew
Vote and comment. What should happen next. Should Davina be an interest. Henrik did some growing up, seems his not the same little boy from mystic falls
