Today was anything but better. Everyone was doing there own thing but Lijah , Kol, and Fin were all packing. They wanted to leave the town but Nik and Beka were as staying behind for now. I didn't know what to do, should I go or stay. Was I even going to have a choice.
"Lijah do you have to go" I practically stormed my way onto his room. I was mad they were all just breaking apart just like that but what could I really do
"Yes and I have spoken with the others. This town is not safe for you so I will like you to tag along. You would have went with fin but he is still learning about how things work so that leaves you with me" Lijah was calm about the whole situation yet I was shocked. Did I have no say so? I know I'm the youngest but it still sucked not having a say so.
"You sound like your giving me a choice but I know your not" I snapped crossing my arms.
Lijah simply sighed "this will be a good change. You can go to school with kids your age and practice your magic in a safe environment. We all only want the best for you"
Now I felt guilty for snapping at him. I know it's not safe with the hand here. I hated making them worry and that's all they have been doing since I returned to them
"Fine Lijah I'll go pack" I instantly left to my room and packed some clothes into a suitcase. It didn't take me long since I haven't went shopping yet. Hopefully I can get more clothes when I'm settled into our new home. With that thought in mind I took my bags downstairs just in time for Lijah who carried his own suitcase. He took my bags to the car while I turned to face my family who was asked into the room
"Bye Henrick, I'll come visit as soon as I can" Beka had tears in her eyes as she hugged me
"I'll keep your word on that sister" I couldn't help but feel as though I wouldn't see her for awhile
"Now you sound like Elijah, don't tell me your turning into a Minnie him" Kol joked he even ruffled my hair. I couldn't help but roll my eyes and push his hand off
"Never I'll always be the most amazing brother" I smirked at that even when Nik and Kol rolled there's eyes amused
"Stay out of trouble and call when you get the chance" glancing at Nik I could tell he was sad I was leaving for awhile. I also knew he was trying to hide it but I was fine with that for now anyways. I hope he one day he will let his emotions out
Last but not least Fin stood off to the side holding a book"this is mother's grimore it should help with your magic" smiling I took the grimore and hugged him
"Thank you, visit sometime" with that I turned to Lijah who stood at the door smiling. "We have a long road ahead of us"
Nodding I followed him into the car. I couldn't help but tear up. I kissed them already and we haven't even left yet.
"We will see them soon" Lijah reassured while pulling out of the drive way. I didn't even have the strength to reply to him. I was scared of what this new beginning will hold. Could I really fit in when I knew next to nothing about anything related to this time period? Sadly I wouldn't know until I started school and actually met people my age. I could only hope for the best.
