Violet PoV
I couldn't move, and couldn't look at Thorin. "Can..." I said quietly. "What is it?" Thorin asked looking down at me, however I kept my vision lowered. "Can...can we just kill him?" I asked quietly. Thorin looked at me shocked. "W-what? I never picked you for one like that." He said.
Thorin PoV
I looked down at Violet shocked. Suddenly she finally looked up at me, her eyes where red from crying and her expression was terrified and desperate. "Thorin...I-I can't go back with him!!!!" She wailed before budding her face into my chest, I felt her arms grasp the clothes on my back. "P-please don't let me go!!!!!" She cried, her voice was cracked and strained. My heart felt as though it had shattered right then and there...it did slightly. I felt my eyes water seeing the one I love so much in such pain and so scared. I held her close to me, her fragile small body was hardly the width of my chest. "Violet, I never, ever, want to let you go." I said. "T-then don't!!!! Just don't let him take me!!!" She cried. "Is he like your father?" I asked. She sniffed and nodded, "h-he's more cruel...and threatening...he hurts me more...he has never forced himself into me...but he takes pleasure watching me in pain, Thorin please!!!!!" She cried out. "Thorin..." Balin said at the door. Violet sniffed and looked at Balin. He instantly looked at her and his eyes began to water. "W-we've arranged for her to stay for the festival." Balin said. I nodded, "maybe...that will give us time to figure this out...and hopefully avoid it at all costs." I said. Balin took his leave and Violet buried her face back against me. "I promise on my life, I will not let him take you. A girl so sweet as you does not deserve a life like that. You deserve to be cared for, and treated like a queen." I said kissing her head. "T-Thorin..." She whispered. "Yes my love?" I asked. She looked up at me, her tears threatening to spill. "I want you to know...if I do get taken away...please know you've given me a lifetime of happiness, plenty, and love all in one adventure. I've found a family so dear to me among a small group of dwarves that I would risk my life for in a heartbeat." She said. "I would give anything to stay with you all..I-i don't want to leave!!!" She cried, her head pressed against my chest. "We don't want you to leave ether lass..." I looked up and saw the entire company standing in the room. She wiped around and looked at them shocked. She wiped her eyes and sniffed. "R-really?" she asked. "Of course not!!!" Kili said with a pained heartbroken face. "Aye, your such a strong lass, why would dwarves want a woman like that to leave." Dwalin said. I grinned at her giggle. "T-thanks you guys..." She said before she slightly scurried over to them. In a matter of seconds she was enclosed in a tight hug by all of them. Kili diving through to hug her first. "Be careful!! She's still injured!!" I said warningly. "Guys...I-I can't breath!" Violet squeaked. "Let her go, she is still injured." I said. They all let go but kept their admiring gazes on Violet. Suddenly there was a knock at the door. "Who is it~?" Bofur asked with a grin. "Sameth. I wish to speak to my niece." The deep voice spoke. "No! She's not here!" Kili yelled. "I know she's there. Please, I wish to speak with her." He said. Dwalin opened the door and he looking right at Violet. I looked back as the fragile girl...and saw a venomous gaze. She had changed, she was no longer the shy, hardly speaking, terrified girl I met in bag-end. She was strong, and brave. "I wish to speak with her, alone." He said. I growled, "like I'll make that fucking mistake twice!!!" I yelled pulling Violet behind me. Suddenly my sword was takes out of its shieth. I looked back to see it gripped tightly in Violets hand. "Go. If anything happens...I won't hesitate to cut the bastard in half." She said looking right at him. I looked at her...no doubt surprised at her language. "Alright...everyone." I said turning to the company. "Out. We stand right outside the door." I said walking past Sameth, who despite being bulky and muscular, he was quite shorter than I. He closed the door behind us, leaving us to wait for our time to step in once again.

I listened to the door close however kept my eyes on my uncle. I had had enough of this, enough of this life, enough of people like him, enough of having to fight to keep myself safe from people who where supposed to be my family. "Why are you here? If you never even liked caring for me." I said looking at him. "I'm here as my responsibility as your last standing relative." He said with a smile...a fake smile. "No your not. Why are you actually here, you never liked caring for me. Only hurting and embarrassing me." I said lowly. "Well my sweet sweet Viole-" "don't call me yours. I belong to one man and one man only." I growled. "Oh, and who would that be?" He asked. "My king." I said. "Oh, so you are under the rule of King Thorin are you? The one your supposed to "marry"?" He asked. I nodded, "yes. I am to be wed to him when I turn forty." I said. "Do you honestly think he would want to be with you? A girl who is a fraction of his age?" He asked. I nodded, "love knows no age, or status." I said. "Hm...and what about history? Why would he want a girl who was ruined by her own father...forced upon her own kin. You haven't told him the whole truth have you? All he knows of is your father and I?" He asked. I gulped and shook my head. "I don't plan for him to know! He doesn't need to!!" I yelled. "Oh, so nothing about your cousin? Or your aunt? Who treated you as a slave." He asked. I shook my head. "All of you....everyone on my fathers side looked to me for a whore, and a maid. I am nether of those things, I wasn't then, and I sure as hell aren't now." I said gripping Thorins sword tightly in my hand, my anger rising. "Hm. So, none of those dwarves did anything to you?" He asked. I shook my head, "they protected me, took me in as one of them and cared for me. Fed me, made sure I wasn't freezing to the bone at night or being watched while I bathed. They treated me almost like royalty!" I yelled, tears welling up in my eyes. "They gave me the family I never got! They gave me more than I feel I deserve." I said. "Your right, you don't deserve it. You wherent supposed to happen! And in the long run, YOU!" He said pointing at me. "ARE WHY MY BROTHER IS DEAD!" He bellowed. "YOUR BROTHER IS A LOW LIFE PIECE OF SHIT WHO RAPED AND BEAT HIS ONLY CHILD, RAPED HER MOTHER AND CAUSED HER TO LIE TO HER HUSBAND AND MAKE HIM LOSE THE LOVE HE FELT FOR HER!!!!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs before I lunged at him with my sword. "AND YOU!" I screamed swinging my sword, only for him to duck out of the way and kick me onto my knees. My uncle was an astonishing fighter, no doubt just as good, if not better than I. I rolled back onto my feet. "You where the first person in my family I thought would treat me kindly. However I was wrong, you where one of the worst. If you take me back, I will run. I will run far away before you can even get me back to the shire." I said standing. "And where would you go?" He asked. "I don't know, over the course of this journey I've made many, many friends. No doubt I'd have a place to go." I said. "Would you come back here? Come back to you "King"?" He asked. "I would to anything to get back to Thorin. I would risk my life, as I have many times before, just to get and be by his side!!" I yelled. Suddenly my uncle swung around and threw a loose dagger on the ground, cutting my shoulder as it flew past me. I yelped in pain. Before I could react the door busted open and Sameth was slammed to the ground by Dwalin, Kili, Fili, and Bofur. Thorin lunged for me, taking his sword and scooped one thick arm under my butt, lifting me against him, I wrapped one arm around his neck to keep myself from falling. "Take him to the dungeons. He's damaged the Kings jewel. That is an offense punishable by death."Thorin said darkly. I suddenly watch Dwarvish guards haul him away while he thrashed and screamed. "NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO TO ME SHE WILL COME BACK WITH ME!!!!!" He bellowed. "Dirty rat..." I whispered. Suddenly I heard metal drop, and felt Thorin looking at the small cut on my shoulder. "The Kings jewel?" I asked. "Yes. You are my most valued being. I will not allow harm to come to you without punishment. Same goes for anyone in my family line." He said with a solid frown of seriousness on his face. "...thank you, but it is only a scratch." I said as I stepped out of his grasp. "Doesn't matter, you are injured and it was inflicted by they disgusting swine." He said. I giggled slightly at Thorin's words. "Is everything alright? I heard yelling." We turned and suddenly saw Tauriel. "Tend to her wound elf. I have business to attend to. I knew he was going to talk to my uncle.
I was taken by Tauriel who led me to the medical room. "who was that man?" She asked looking down at me. "My uncle...he wishes to take me back to the shire." I said looking down. "What?! He can't!" She protested. "He can...he doesn't abide by Thorins reign." I said. "Wait...I'm confused. Your an adult, why can he take you?" She asked. I shook my head, "I'm thirty-eight. I have two years before I am adult, which means two years before Thorin will marry me." I said. "Since my father is dead...he is the next closest relative I have." I said, a small tear running down my face. I heard silence from Tauriel, i looked up and saw her face intensely thinking before Her eyes widened. "NO! NO HES NOT!!!!!" She yelled before sprinting off. "T-Tauriel!! What are you talking about?!" I yelled confused. "I HAVE TO STOP HIM BEFORE HE LEAVES!!!!" She yelled. "Mahal...I'm half elf and I don't understand her..." I whispered to myself before going off to find Oin for ointment.

I stormed down to the dungeons, my blood was boiling. As I approached I saw my guards standing at attention. "Send for Dwalin. I request his presence." I said. I walked past them and to the middle cell, where Sameth was being held. "Who do you think you are touching precious Royal gems." I asked, my hands behind my back. "I have a right to touch my own family." He said. "No, not in the way you do. That's this thing called domestic violence....and rape." I said. "Who do you think you are speaking to me as though I am your subject." He said standing. "In my kingdom. You are." I growled. "And understand this, while you are in my kingdom, you will respect the Royal family, Violet is apart of that family." I said. "No. She's not. She is a minor, she is not your wife yet...why would would want to marry her is beneath me." He said crossing his arms. "I want to marry her because I love her." I said. "She is a strong warrior, hardened by her past, made into a loving, protective, loyal and brave woman." I growled. "And you! You are a replaceable, disgusting, meaningless aspect in her life...that I feel would be more helpful...if you where not breathing anymore." I said. "oh! Is the great King under the mountain going to kill me?!?!" He yelled with a smile, holding onto the bars of the cell. "Most likely," someone spoke up behind me. I turned...and saw Thranduil walking towards me with Tauriel by his side, "however, no such thing will take place without me to help him." He said with a small smile. I could help but grin, "who the fuck are you?!" Sameth yelled. "I am Thranduil, King of the woodland realm....and father to Violets brother, as well as her adopted father." He said. "Wh-what?" Sameth asked backing away. "If you think Violet is defenseless...you are more than wrong." Thranduil said. "Indeed, she is not only protected by the dwarves of Erebor," I said. "But the Elves of Mirkwood as well." Thranduil finished. "Wait. You aren't her immediate blood line! You aren't related to her!" Sameth yelled. "You may have misheard me...I am father...to her biological brother." He said. Sameth's eyes widened in fear, a smug smirk spread across Thranduil and I's faces, seeing the horrified, shocked, and confused expression of the lowly pig.
