Violet POV
I walked beside Thorin quietly nibbling on chocolate as he led me to wherever it was he wished. As we walked he sent Kili and Fili away leaving us with each other. "Violet do you remember what I told you last night?" He asked. I shook my head. "No, not really." I said. "Well I told you my plan to get around Thranduil." He said. "Oh? What was it?" I asked looking up at him. "Well, Mr. Baggins is going to be leaving on his journey home soon...and you will be going with him." He said. My eyes widened. "What?! Please tell me your joking Thorin." I said becoming slightly hysteric. He kneeled down and whipped my quickly watering eyes. "No no tears my love." He said with a smile. "I will come for you. You will be purchasing a home in the Shire, that ways you will not have to live in that house you've been tortured in for so many years. You will move your things into the new home, and once I am finished settling my affairs I will come and get you. Then we can go back to the shire whenever we want." Thorin said. I stared directly into his eyes and nodded, "a-alright..." I said quietly. "Are you sure this would even work?" I asked. "Of course I am, I wouldn't suggest it if it wouldn't." He said standing up, his hand cupping over the side of my head as he kissed my hair gently. I nodded. "What's wrong? You seem troubled." He asked. "Nothing, don't worry about it." I said quietly. "I am, and will. Please my love tell me." He said. "Can I tell you another time?" I asked. He nodded. "I am going to go speak with Thranduil before he leaves and tries to take you with him." He said. "Alright, i am going to try and find Bilbo." I said turning away. As soon as I did so I walked away, off to find Bilbo.
I wandered the kingdom aimlessly. I wasn't looking for Bilbo...well...it wasn't my goal. My goal was to be alone. 'I have to go back to that place...' I thought. I felt shivers through my entire body. I sniffed and whipped tears away from my eyes trying to calm myself. "Violet?" I heard Bofurs voice behind me. I turned and looked at him. "Bofur!" I cried and ran to him, hugging him tightly around his waist. "My god lass what's wrong?!" He asked hugging me gently, stroking my hair. "I-I'm so scared!" I cried against his chest. "What? What's got you so worked up?" He asked. "T-Thorin came up with this actually b-brilliant idea so that i could come back to Erebor and stay," I started. "Aye? What's so bad about that?" He asked. "He wants me to go back to the shire with Bilbo and clear out my old house...buy a new one so that I can have my own home in the shire, then he would come to get me and take me back here." I said. "I'm sorry lass I don't see the troubling part in that." Bofur said. I choked on tears and nodded. "I know, you couldn't possibly see it." I cried hugging him tighter. "I-I'm terrified to go back to my house...I've shed so many tears, lost so much blood, made so many screams....that place is...is like..." I Shook my head, hardly able to talk anymore. "Like a living nightmare for you. It houses your worst fear." He said. "Yes!!!!" I cried loudly, violently shaking. "Shh shh shh, it will be alright lassie..." He whispered gently holding me close. "What if I came with ye, helped you get out of that house faster than on yer own?" He offered. I let go and looked at him with a surprised look. "You'd do that?" I asked. He nodded. "Aye, anything for you." He said. I smiled and hugged him around the neck tightly, "Thank you Bofur." I said. His arms hugged my waist gently, I could tell he wasn't wanting to let go...nether was I. "Violet," I jumped hearing Bilbos voice. "Y-yes?" I asked letting go of Bofur quickly before Bilbo came into view. "Thorin just told me what's going to happen. I'm excited to have you with Gandalf and I." He said smiling. "Oh, I'm going to ask Thorin if Bofur can come as well to help me move out of the house faster." I said. "Oh...Thorin told me nobody was to go with us to ensure it looked realistic that you were staying in the shire." Bilbo said. I frowned. "O-oh...alright..." I said looking at Bofur. "Don't worry, I would be more than happy to help you." Bilbo said. I smiled at the hobbits kindness. "Thank you Bilbo!" I said smiling trying to hide my sadness that I just lost the friend I wanted to bring with me. "Of course! Thorin is speaking with Thranduil as we speak. We will leave in the morning." He said. "Alright...I hope this works." I said biting my sleeve slightly. "Aye, we do want you to come back you know." Bofur said. I giggled and nodded, "yes I'm quite aware. I want to come back. After being with all of you for so long I don't really know if I can live without the craziness of the dwarves." I said. Bilbo and Bofur smiled. "Violet." I flinched at Dwalins deep voice. "Y-yes?" I asked. "You are needed in the throne room." He said. My eyes widened. "Oh...alright." I waved to Bofur and Bilbo and quickly followed Dwalin. "Am I in trouble?" I asked. "No, we need you for clarification." He said, he seemed saddened. "You are going to come back if this works right?" He asked. I looked up at the strong hardened dwarf, "of course I am." I said with a small grin as we approached the Throne room. The second I entered all eyes were on me. "Violet, come." Thranduil said. I nodded and began to walk towards Thorin who sat in his throne. "No, there." He said pointing towards where Balin, Kili, Fili, Dwalin, and Dis where standing. I stood beside Dis, nervous was an understatement to how I felt. "Is it true, that you intend to travel back to Bag End, in The shire to live there until you have reached adulthood." Thranduil asked. I nodded, "yes, it is." I said. "Which would be how long?" He asked. "Two years." I replied simply. "You are aware any sexual contact between you and Thorin Oakenshield is prohibited until that time has finished is prohibited." He asked. "Yes, I am." I said, not even looking at anyone except Thranduil. "Well, then by the agreement of King Thorin Oakenshield and I...you are ordered to return to the shire to live out your two years until adulthood, once that time is up...I grant my permission for the relationship between Thorin and you to continue." Thranduil said with a small grin. I smiled and looked at Thorin who gave me a small wink. "Well then, I assume you are wanting to take your leave back to mirkwood?" Thorin asked standing up. "Yes, I will. Goodbye Violet." He said turning away. I bowed, "goodbye." I said. I stood where I was as Thorin walked Thranduil down the isle to the door. Thranduil said something to Thorin I could not hear, as soon as the door closed every dwarf erupted in cheer. Suddenly Thorin sprinted back down the isle and scooped me up into a tight hug. I laughed loudly and wrapped my legs around his waist so I didn't fall as he spun me. "You did amazing!" He said happily as he set me down. I smiled widely and tucked some hair behind my ear. "Really?" I asked. He kissed my forehead. "Astonishing. Now, we must get you packed and some money for your journey. You leave in the morning." He said. I looked around me at the happy dwarves and nodded. "Alright!" I said with a smile. Though as happy as I seemed... The lingering fear from earlier still stood strong in my chest.
