Devon decided that his proposal will take place during the party. Both Trevor and Stefan promised Devon that they will give their full support to Devon, whatever he needs.

Since the theme is Bohemian, Devon settled with a slim-fit printed shirt and paired it with brown pants. Mina will prepare Devon's suit while Rouge will be responsible for reminding Devon of the little things. As the time to commence the proposal gets nearer, expect Devon to be frantic and be able over the place. As Devon's attendant, it is Rouge's responsibility to keep Devon in line.

"By the way, have you asked Lexus for Elijah's hand in marriage?" Trevor asked and lifted his brow in curiosity. "Elijah's father," Trevor informed Stefan and the latter nodded in understanding.

Devon took a deep breath and affirmed Trevor's question. "Yes, though it was not an easy road. I almost fucked up." Devon rubbed his temples when he remembered what happened a month after the huge incident.

As usual, Devon woke up early, did his routine, and after freshening up, spent a few more minutes just staring at Elijah's face in peaceful slumber. Elijah refused to sleep in his room, so Devon had Elijah move to Devon's room.

As much as Devon regrets waking up his sleeping sunshine, today is the day Elijah and his father, Lexus Harris, will reunite. Lexus underwent a few days of therapy before meeting with Elijah. Lexus wants to be in a good frame of mind when he finally meets his beloved son.

"Sunshine, good morning," Devon whispered and stroked Elijah's cheek with so much gentleness. Elijah stirred in his sleep and slowly fluttered his eyelids. Devon smiled when Elijah lifted his arms. Devon reached for his boyfriend and had Elijah nestled on top of Devon's chest.

Elijah yawned softly and blinked his sleepiness away. "Good morning, Dev. What time is it?" Elijah was still groggy, and being inside Devon's arms makes Elijah sleepier because Elijah feels the safest with Devon.

"It's already eight, baby. I'm sorry that you had to get up but your father will arrive in an hour. We still have to prepare."

That drove Elijah's sleepiness away. "That's right. I forgot."

Devon chuckled and pinched Elijah's cheek playfully. "Alright. Let me draw you a bath and after that, we'll have breakfast together."

Elijah nodded and gave Devon a tight hug to express how delighted he was. "I love that, Dev. Thank you," Elijah said sweetly and Devon grinned.

Devon prepared Elijah's bubble bath and allowed Elijah to play with the shower, but not for long. Devon is aware of how much Elijah loved the shower in Devon's bathroom. Thankfully, Elijah remembered to ask Devon's assistance about how the shower buttons work.

While Devon whipped something for breakfast, Elijah couldn't stop the nerves from budding at the eventual reunion with his father. What should Elijah talk about with Lexus? Do they have something in common to talk about? What about their hobbies? Elijah is confused. After all, he has never met his father and has zero memories of him. The only thing Elijah has to remember his parents by is that single photograph carefully settled in an old frame.
