nini salazar-roberts, the smart, a+ student who has the voice of an angel. ricky bowen, a jock, the school's star basketball player who has nothing planned out for his life. two people who go out of their ways just to be in each other's throats.
since the beginning of freshman year these two loved to bother each other, no one even remembered a time that they weren't fighting, everyone always said that it was because of their opposite personalities, but their friends know the real reason.

the best of friends, the most inseparable people in the world, the past of nina and richard. they were best friends from kindergarten until middle school, but one day they just stopped talking and if that wasn't enough they started to hate each other with all their hearts, making their once united friend group turn into 2 separate groups.
Their friends always wondered why they started hating each other, but the two always avoided the topic. The only people who knew what happened between them were Ricky and Nini themselves.
"Can I please see your Trig homework? I kinda got...caught up last night" Gina begged Nini as she walked behind her, following the brunette to her locker.
"Let me guess. Ej?" Nini playfully rolled her eyes, opening the metal door.
"He surprised me" the curly-haired girl shrugged with a small smile on her face.
"Here. Just give it back before it's time for class. I don't need to get in trouble" Nini said, handing Gina her homework, before closing the locker door.
"Thank you Nini! I love you so much. You know that?"Gina squealed, hugging her best friend.
"Maybe you shouldn't" Nini mumbled under her breath, not Loud enough for Gina to understand what she said, but loud enough for Gina to hear something.
"What'd you say?" Gina raised an eyebrow
"I said I know" Nini forced a smile "I love you too Gi" Nini said and the curly-haired girl flashed a smile back at the girl.
"Oh! Ej is over there. I'll see you at lunch?" Gina said, and Nini nodded in agreement.
With that Gina headed over to her boyfriend placing a sweet kiss on his lips as a greeting.
Nini decided to head to class early to get a headstart on whatever assignment they'd be given that day.
As she walked to school she tripped over someone's foot, and went tumbling to the ground. Laughter erupted from the teenager's mouths, and Nini looked around with embarrassment written all over her face.
