nini salazar roberts spent her whole life looking for love. there were a few guys she dated that she was convinced that she loved at the time but nothing really stuck.
the relationships always ended in one way or another whether it was due to cheating or just a simple agreement that the relationship wasn't working out, and it'd be best to go their separate ways.
she did have one constant in her life though.
Ricky Bowen
he was her best friend. the two had grown up together, experiencing every step along the way together. ricky was nini's shoulder to cry on when things didn't work out, her therapist when she simply needed advice, a listening ear when she needed to vent.
he was always there for her no matter what and she wouldn't have it any other way. if she couldn't rely on anyone else she knew she could rely on ricky.
it went the other way too though. nini was always there for ricky. throughout all the relationships that the girl had, she never forgot about him. she'd include him in any way she could and she never dated anyone who had a problem with him being in her life.
"i kinda wanna dye my hair red, what do you think" nini asked as she aimlessly scrolled through her phone.
the two of them were in nini's bed laying side by side, starting small conversations here and there
"red?" ricky asked, turning his attention over to nini with a smile
the girl nodded "there are girls with red hair all over my pinterest feed and it's starting to make me want to try something new."
"what shade of red were you think of getting?"
"if you think it'll look horrible you could be just said that ricky" nini sighed as she took her attention away from the boy and put it back on her phone
ricky placed his hand over the girls phone, pushing it down causing her attention to go back onto the boy.
"if i didn't say that it'll look horrible i don't think it would look horrible. out of all the people on this planet don't you think you'd be the one i'm honest with?"
"yeah, i guess"
"i just wanted to visualize you with red hair and this could've went really bad really fast if i visualized one shade and you dyed your hair another"
"okay i guess you have a point" the girl rolled her eyes. "anyways, this shade" nini showed the boy a dark burgundy red.
"go for it. it'd look really pretty on you" he smiled
