Mariposa Dulce, a girl with one foot, has know the Madrigal triplets since they were little. Now she's fallen in love with the youngest triplet, Bruno. Will their story be one for the ages?

"Its not my fault, Mama! " Bruno's voice said as I reached to knock on the door. "I'm leaving!" The door opened and Bruno's tired face lit up like the sun. "Mariposa!" He hugged and kissed me.
"What is happening in there?"
"One of the rats snuck into Pepa's bed and she's raining in the living room." He reached to his hood and a small gray rat crawled into his hand. "Clarissa didn't mean to scare her, did you?"
I petted the rat gently. "I'm sure she didn't." I offered Bruno my basket. "Shopping first. Rosa is finally graduating and we have to get things together to celebrate."
Bruno took the basket. "She's graduated already? Little Rosa is growing up so fast."
I nodded as we started into town. "I'm so proud of her."

Rosa tuned her guitar with a smile. She was glad for the new strings. She strummed her guitar and looked at Bruno and I on the couch. "Thank you, Mariposa." She began to play a song.
Bruno stood from the couch with a smile. He offered me his hand. "Dance with me, mi amor."
I let him help me up and he spun me around to the music. He kissed me when the song ended but instead of helping me sit, Rosa handed me my crutches. I steadied myself on them and looked at my little sister. "What are you up to?"
"Not me," Rosa smiled as she began to play another song on her guitar.
Bruno grabbed my hands. "Mi amor, mi cariño, mi cielo. I love you with all of my heart." Bruno knelt in front of me and pulled out a small black box. "¿Quieres casarte conmigo?" He revealed the simple gold ring with a smile.

I was entirely speechless. I let my crutches fall as I tackle hugged him and kissed him.
Bruno laughed as he slid the ring onto my finger. "At least I can do something right," he muttered quietly with a big smile.
