I am having a lazy day. Just doing nothing and I didn't feel like I wanted to anything either. I expected Skyla around the afternoon for lunch, which is in three hours. I rested my feet on the coffee table and switched on a movie. Annoyance rose up as the door bell rang. I slid off the couch, paused the TV and answered the door. Ironhide pushed me aside, bursting like he owned the place and marched over to the living room. 'Yeah, make yourself at home,' I scowled sarcastically. Ironhide looked around like he was looking for something. 'Excuse me? What's the idea?' I blocked his way and crossed his arms.

'What are you hiding?' He snapped. 'Nothing.' He gave me the same look I gave him. 'Really, I am not hiding anything,' I said. He snorted and walked upstairs, checking every room before walking downstairs again. 'You see? Nothing.' I sat back down on the couch and grabbed the remote. 'Now you're here, get me some soda the fridge,' I demanded. He hit the back of my head. 'I am not your slave, dang it!' I rolled my eyes. 'Don't hit me again,' I scowled. 'What are you hiding?' He snapped. 'Nothing. Haven't you just searched every inch of my house? Talking about it...' I got up and crossed my arms. 'Don't burst into my house like you just did!' I snapped. 'You are an absolute jackass,' he snarled. I rolled my eyes again. 'Can you please leave if you're only here to yell at me?' I scowled and sat back down. 'Sunstreaker, honestly...' I raised my hand to silence him. 'Go away, Ironhide. There's nothing here. The people who were here, are buried deep underground in multiple pieces so...'

Ironhide was only able to snort and shake his head. 'Rot in hell, Sunstreaker.' I laughed. 'Yeah, I will see you there.' Ironhide slammed the door shut and I watched Ironhide leave from the kitchen window. I sucked in a breath and settled back on the couch, continuing my movie. Not bothered at all by his sudden visit. It's not the first time they get suspicous but this time, it's a little bit different. The female doesn't live here, so he can search as much as he likes but he will not find her. I tapped with my finger on the couch. I still hadn't figured out what I am going to do with Skyla. Killing her or not. She's going to die anyway so why would I keep her alive? At some point her presence is going to annoy me. On the other hand, she hasn't done anything yet to piss me off and she doesn't talk.

Three hours later, she showed up at my door and looked even worse than the other day. She handed me some papers. 'Ah, your drawings,' I said and turned around, walking over to the living room and let her close the door. 'It's not bad...' I said, looking through them as I sat down. She kept standing in the doorway. 'Don't you come and sit with me?' I asked. She shook her head and started signing; 'I can's stay.' I raised a brow. 'Why not?' I asked confused. 'Cooper.'

I snorted and shook my head. 'Why do you listen to him?' I muttered. She sighed, 'I got sold. I need to be back in time.' I got up. 'What do you mean sold? Where are you going then?' I asked confused. She shrugged. 'Eden and I are both sold to the same person... Lucky me,' she added. I wasn't sure how to feel about the news. Not bothered but not happy either. I thought I would like if she would go away eventually but I didn't. 'But...' I trailed off. 'But it doesn't make any sense, he was going to kill you.' She nodded and sat down at the kitchen table.

'If he can't make money out of us, we die. Especially now we are adults, no one will adopt us and doesn't have to anymore either. He found a way to make money out of us. Apprently he made a deal with someone and that person will come to see us in about an hour,' She signed. 'How will he make money out of you?' I asked. 'Guys...' was all she gestured while looking at the table. I rubbed my face, what am I going to do. Let is happen or try something. I sucked in a breath and slowly sat back down again. 'Are you sure you don't want any food?' I asked. She sadly shook her head. She was upset and scared, I saw her teary eyes but she didn't want to show it.

'It's gonna be okay.'

Skylar shrugged her shoulders. 'Thank you for everything,' she signed. She was here to say goodbye. 'No thanks,' I mumbled. She left but it kept bothering me. I groaned and grabbed my shoes, walking over to the next street and knocked on the door. A guy opened up. This must be Cooper, where Skyla had been talking about. 'What do you want?' he asked. I groaned, 'that's not really custom friendly, is it?' I asked. He eyed me before opening the door for me and let me in. 'How much money do you want for the female... Skyla?' I asked. I felt stupid for even doing this. Why am I even doing this. 'I am sorry, she's alraedy sold,' he said and turned around.

'Wait... how much did they bid?' I asked. 'It's not a game,' he snapped, turning around. 'I am not playing games either. Just tell me what you want,' I snapped back. 'Why would I sell her to you? I can make money out of her with the deal I made last day,' he said. 'I can call the cops...' He narrowed his eyes at me. 'Selling people is wrong. It's human human trafficking, mostly kids,' I said. 'You abused her... I can press chargest against you.'

'You have no evidence and that bitch doesn't even talk. I have powerful friends, they get me out of jail within a week,' he snapped and jabbed his finger in the center of my chest. This guy reminded me a little of my father. Abusive, rude, narcissistic and who knows if he's a rapist as well. 'She's an adult, she can make her own choices. If she wants to leave, she can leave,' I snapped. Cooper narrowed his eyes at me. 'I am asking you... one more time politely, give me the female,' I snapped and glared at him. Cooper stepped back and turned his back towards me.

'Three thousand...'

I groaned and shook my head. 'Then I make at least a little bit profit out of her,' he sulked. 'Fine,' I snapped and turned my head towards the stairs. 'Whatever,' I scowled and marched upstairs, searching for Skyla. I found her in the last room. 'Come on, Skyla, let's go.' She got up, shocked and surprised to see me and so did Eden. 'Wait, what?' She stared at me before looking at Skyla who nonchelantly walked away. 'You adopted her?' she asked. 'I don't need to adopt her, she's eighteen. Just doing her a favor,' I said. She smiled a little at me. 'What about me?' she asked. 'I don't know... hopefully you have a friend as well,' I said before gesturing to Skyla to follow me.

She hid behind me as I passed Cooper and walked off. 'Thank you,' she gestured. 'Yeah, yeah... whatever,' I muttered and looked over my shoulder. Cooper was watching us closely. I don't think that guy will leave her alone but she's mine now.
