I sucked in a breath. 'I can't go on that mission–' Optimus cut me off. 'You have too, Sunstreaker,' he said. I shook my head. 'You are leaving today,' he added strictly. I can't leave Skyla behind but taking her will only keep me up as well. I snorted and walked off the stairs, back towards my alt-mode. 'Piss off!" I shouted and smashed a soldier against the pillar. He was taking photos of my alt-mode. I narrowed my eyes and pressed my knife tighter against his throat. 'Sunstreaker, leave him alone!' I turned my head to look at Lennox. Without mercy, I sliced his throat open, blood splashed all over my face and shirt. I dropped the soldier and walked over to him. Lennox backed off, 'enough!' Optimus pushed me aside. I glared at Lennox. 'You don't tell me what to do, human! Next time you end up like that soldier,' I growled dangerously before turning around and hopped in.

Skyla was shocked. Her eyes widened as she looked at my face and shirt. 'I am in a horrible mood... just- leave me alone.' I waved her off and walked upstairs. I slammed the door of my room shut and paced around. I didn't know what to do. I am not going to leave her behind. I growled and removed my shirt before walking over to the bathroom, where I washed my face. I perked my head up by the sound of my bedroom door opening. Skyla grabbed my shirt and looked briefly at me. I turned off the water and grabbed a cloth, drying my face. She looked over my abs. Her face turned a bright red. 'You like my eight-pack?' I rubbed over my abdomen. She shyly looked down at the ground. I walked up to her and tilted her head. 'you're okay?' She gave a small nod. I lifted her head a little more and pressed a kiss on her forehead. I gently wrapped my arms around her and pulled her in a hug. She still wasn't comfortable when I hugged her, but I hoped she would get used to it.
I let go of her and walked over to my closet, grabbing some clothing. 'Pack a few things, Skyla. We are going for a four day long trip,' I said. she cocked her head to the side. 'I have a mission, but I don't want to leave you alone,' I said. She nodded and walked over to the door. I followed her a little slower and leaned against the doorway. 'Make sure to take something warm as well, we are going to towards the North.' She nodded.

Half an hour later, we hit the road. She was looking out of the window while Washington DC softly faded to the background. 'With some luck, I can handle the situation quickly,' I said. Skyla nodded without looking at me. 'I am going to drop you off at a hotel. I want you to stay there until I return, clear?' Again, she nodded without looking at me. She's not mad, she just didn't want to look me in the eyes, like usual.

She briefly glanced at me to get my attention before she started to sign; 'what are you supposed to do? It's not a regular mission, isn't it?'  I shook my head. 'No, I have to kill a Decepticon,' I replied. 'I've trust in you, but why are you going alone? What if it's an ambush?' She asked. 'It's not. Prime has been following this Decepticon for a while. He's alone. Probably kicked out of the team.'

'Why killing him then?'

'Because he's still a Decepticon, Skyla. We always kill them,' I said. 'Female or male?' She signed. 'Female,' I muttered. 'What if she's pregnant? Would you still kill her?' I snorted. 'Skyla, I don't care if she's pregnant, if she has a sparkling or even if the Decepticon is sick and defenseless. It's still a Decepticon and the main reason why I lost my home! They deserve to die and I will make sure they die. Am I clear?'  She nodded and looked down at her lap. 'Good. Those filthy rats all deserve to rot in hell. Just like all the humans,' I snarled hatred.

I glanced at Sunstreaker. He was full of hate and anger. I sighed softly and looked out of the window again. I froze as Sunstreaker laid his hand on my leg. I looked at him again. 'You're gonna be fine. Don't worry.' I gave a small nod and looked out of the windshield.

Around the afternoon, we arrived at the hotel Sunstreaker picked. 'You will stay here... there are a few restaurants, a pool if you'd like. It's a small vacation for you,' he said and hopped out. I followed him. He gently wrapped his arm around me. 'You'll be fine. Just make sure to stay inside and don't go out for a walk. You wait here until I return and contact me if you're in trouble, alright?'

I gave a small nod. Sunstreaker got the key and brought me towards my room. I looked around before I turned towards him. 'Alright, I have to go, but I think you'll be fine,' he said and kissed my head. 'Alright, see you soon then,' I gestured. 'Yeah, don't worry,' he said and walked off. When the door was shut, a silence fell. I slowly I sat down and looked around. I wasn't happy he left. I didn't feel save without him and I was scared he wouldn't come back either. If he dies, what will happen to me?

I unpacked before I headed towards the restaurant and to get something to eat. Usually, Sunstreaker orders for us both and now I had to do it on my own. I pointed at the things I wanted. I am not going to talk anytime soon. I waited patiently and grabbed the phone Sunstreaker had given me. I had downloaded a few games. I never had a phone before and Sunstreaker allowed me to use his spotify account. The waitress returned twenty minutes later with my food. Even I am alone, at least Sunstreaker picked a good hotel for me.
