It's day five and Sunstreaker still hadn't returned yet nor texted me. I am not going to text him and possibly annoy him. I just minded my own business. I couldn't do much. Sunstreaker told me to stay inside. It's 12:30 PM and I just got up. I had dressed up and sat down at the restaurant. I looked through the menu card and waited for the waitress to come back. I jolted as I felt someone touch my shoulders. 'Hello, princess.' A smile pulled up on my lips. Sunstreaker nuzzled in my neck from behind and pressed a kiss on my cheek before sitting in front of me. 'I am glad you are back,' I signed. 'You missed me?' he joked. I shrugged and blushed. 'Ahw, you did,' he cooed. I rolled my eyes. 'Have you chosen already?' he asked. I shook my head and handed him the menu card.
He looked through it. 'I am starving. All the fighting cost me a lot of Energon and energy,' he sighed. He looked at me, 'so, what have you been up to the last few days?' he asked. 'Not much honestly. I have been walking around and explored shops and restaurants. I didn't go outside but I have eaten on the terrace the other day. The weather was really good and nice, unlike today,' I signed. He hummed, 'You haven't tried out the pool yet?' he asked. I shook my head, 'no, not yet. I felt awkward to go alone, you know what I mean?' I signed. Sunstreaker huffed, 'well, guess I have to come with you then,' he mocked.
'I am because I spend my days with you again,' he said. I snorted. 'I am serious... I missed you,' he said. A weak smile pulled up on my list. 'Me too,' I signed. 'Even when I startle you, not a single sound, impressive,' he said. I shrugged, 'eight years since I haven't talked, that's a long time,' I signed. 'Why don't you talk to me? You trust me, right?' he asked. I nodded, 'it's not your fault. It's me,' I signed. He gave a small nod. He laid his hand on mine and smiled weakly. Usually, he doesn't give me genuine smiles. I reached out for his hand and softly grasped it.
'You wanna go out for a swim with me?' he asked. I hesitated for a moment. 'I won't drown you,' he added. I snorted and shook my head. As soon as we finished, Sunstreaker and I headed back upstairs. I pulled on my bikini and he pulled on his swimming trunks. I watched him from the bathroom as he fixed his hair in the mirror. I could see all his muscles so clearly know. It's quite intimidating. He can snap my neck without using all his strengh or just kill me in matter of seconds. 'You're staring,' he cooed as he caught my eyes through the mirror. I shook my head and shut the bathroom door. 'What were you thinking?' he asked, walking up to me. I shrugged but didn't give him a proper answer.
I hugged him carefully and laid my head against his shoulder. 'Ah, you really did mis me,' he snorted arrogantly. I nudged his side and stepped back. 'are you coming or what, show off,' I signed. He gave small nod and grabbed his shoes. We walked towards the pool. While I was a bit hesitant, Sunstreaker dove in. I carefully jumped in the water. Sunstreaker brushed some water from his face and smirked. 'We stay here today and leave tomorrow, okay?' he asked. I nodded.
It's so hard to realize that this mech is a serial killer. I really doubted it at this point because he's just acting like any other regular person. He's wasn't laughing but teasing me and didn't act aggresive or whatsover. I sat on his shoulders and messed with his hair. He looked up as I laughed. 'It's the first time I hear a sound coming from your throat,' he said. I shrugged and rubbed his scalp. 'I love hearing you laugh,' he said. A smile formed on my lips. Sunstreaker threw me off his shoulders and grabbed me, wrapping his arm around my waist.
'Do you ever regret taking me in?'
Sunstreaker shrugged. 'You put me in a difficult situation, but I don't necessarily regret it,' he replied and brushed a wet strand from my face. 'I am just having trouble with my team and the other humans. Now that thing with Cooper, you know, it's not easy to have so much pressure from different angles but it's fine. I chose take you in. If I didn't want that, I wouldn't have done it,' he said in a matter-of-fact tone. That evening, after dinner I realized we had to share a bed. Sunstreaker is never evert going to let on the couch. I somehow had peace with it. I trusted him enough and he was comfortable as well, so I am not going to make a problem out of it. However, what did bother me was that I had to get up early. Sunstreaker is always early, even on Sundays and I just hated it. I sighed. 'What's wrong?'
I glanced at Sunny beside me. 'You're always early.' I signed. 'You just sound just like my twin brother. I always have to drag him out of bed,' he mocked. 'Perhaps because you're always early,' I gestured. 'That's not true. I let you sleep till eight on Sunday,' he said in matter-of-fact tone. 'Yeah, today I slept till 12:30 PM.' Sunstreaker raised a brow. 'Really?' He asked in disbelief. I nodded. 'Can't we make a deal? On Sunday I'll get up at 10 O'clock,' I gestured. Sunstreaker snorted, 'fine, sure...' he waved his hand dismissively. 'Thank you.' He rolled his eyes and laid down. 'Let's get some sleep. I pretty tired from last day events,' he said and laid on his stomach. I nodded and shut the lights on my side.
