'What are you doing here—' I cut Sunstreaker off. 'Sideswipe doesn't approve our bond.' Sunstreaker sighed and patted the spot beside him. 'No, he doesn't.' I flopped on the mattress. 'Now what?' He shrugged and fiddled with the fabric. 'He told you the risks?' I nodded. 'Then it's up to you.' I frowned. 'Up to me?' I repeated. 'If you want to bond with me or not.' I pressed my lips on his. 'Of course I want to bond with you. Do you really think I've second thoughts now Sideswipe told me the risks?' I whispered,— pressing my forehead against his. 'Then why are you crying?' He whispered. I pulled away. 'I miss how it was.' He smiled and brushed the tears off my face. 'It will be okay... you need to trust me, okay?' I nodded and hugged him. He pulled me down with him.

Someone cleared his throat. 'I'm sorry to interrupt...' Ratchet shut the door behind him. I let go of Sunstreaker. 'Prime wants to talk to you, Sunstreaker.' He shook his head. 'No, I'm not in the mood and it's late. I haven't seen Sky all day... I want to be with her, right now.' Ratchet stepped closer. 'I know... but she has to go before Prime sees her here.' I smiled wryly at my mech and cupped his cheek. 'I will talk to you later, okay?' I signed. He nodded. I wanted to slid off the mattress, but he grabbed me and pulled me in a heated kiss. 'He careful.' I nodded and walked up to the door.

I took a different route to leave the medbay and bumped into Sideswipe as soon as I walked into the main hanger. 'There you are, where have you been?' I shrugged and ran my hand through my hair. 'My brother?' I gave a small nod. 'I want to be with him...' He flashed me a sympathetic smile. 'I know...' he patted my shoulder. All I could think about facing him were his words about forming a bond with his twin brother. Everything is messed up. I sometimes wished I never listened to Sideswipe about coming here. Sunny and I would be happy together, alone. I craved back. He was right. This was a mistake. I couldn't be myself and I couldn't be with Sunny. It drove me the up the walls. 'Hey, you're okay?' Sideswipe frowned.

I snorted and passed him. 'Skyla?' He grabbed my wrist. I yanked my arm back and shot him a nasty glare. 'Instead of telling me what to do, why don't you just try to find whoever shot your brother? Don't you care about that?' I snapped quietly. Sideswipe took a step back. 'Skyla, please... I know you're upset but—' I cut him off. 'I don't want to be here and I wish I never went to that stupid party! I wish I had listened to Sunstreaker. He could've handled it, now he's in the medbay! I am done with this all and just for the record... I want to bond with him. It's not any of your damn business!' I brushed some tears fiercely off my face. 'Skyla—' I turned around and stormed off. I didn't want to hear what he had to say.

I couldn't sleep that night. All I could think about was Sunstreaker. I heard a soft click and my door opened. I recognized Sunny's tall figured strolling in and locking the door behind him. 'Just as I thought...' he approached. 'Scoot aside.' He settled next to me under the guilt. 'Sideswipe already told me you were upset, and I guessed you probably couldn't sleep.' I snuggled into him. 'I want to go home with you... I wish I never went to that stupid party. These six months were the best months of my life...' he wrapped his arm around me. 'There will come many more months. Do you really think I let anyone touch my precious girl?' He mocked. I snorted and closed my eyes,— listening to the strong beat of his spark and breathing.

'What did Prime want?' I whispered. 'I got a speech. He didn't like my behavior of the last few months. One day, humans will turn their backs on us and hunt us down like stray cats and kill us. Humans are full of greed... they want to use us for their experiments and try to make us... Prime doesn't want to believe me, but he will, the day the humans turn their backs on us. I will be long gone... you are coming with me. I will not stay here and watch people try to slaughter us.'

'Isn't that a little dramatic?' I whispered. 'No... they used me for their experiments, remember? They hurt me, Skyla. There's a reason why I slaughter humans.' He pecked my cheek.' I sucked in a breath and closed my eyes. 'Go to sleep... you need it,' he mumbled. 'Do you stay this time?' I whispered and jawed. 'Yeah, Ratchet dismissed me. I actually wasn't planning on staying one more minute in that medbay. I've to kill some one, remember?' He mumbled. 'You don't even know who shot you.'

'Oh, but I will figure that out, dear. Don't worry about that.'

I didn't. If Sunstreaker has something on his mind, he will finish the job, one way or another. I laid on my side and felt him curl against my back. 'I actually wanted to ask you to stay in your room for a couple of days. I don't want you to see all the murders I'm going to commit. You're too pure to see so much death. I will make sure you get your food,' he stated. Even his voice sounded calm and almost gentle, there was a lot of rage and hatred behind his words. The best thing I could do was obey. 'Sure.'

He kissed the crook of my neck before laying his head back down. 'Tomorrow, I'll find out myself who tried to kill me. although I was t there, I used my internal scanners to record everything that has happened... and I've done suspects...'
