I stared at the clock wishing it could hurry up. Since the time when Davies entered the Philosophy classroom till now, he never stopped bragging about his victory against Cassio. I looked around and found my annoyance reflected on everyone else's faces. I sighed and turned on my iPod and put on my earbuds and listened to Vivaldi's four seasons. I looked at my papers and textbook and got to work. After a while, the bell finally rang. I was finally free to go back to the café and work in a peaceful environment.

I opened the doors and was immediately greeted with the warm fresh smell of ground coffee beans. I took a deep breath and got in the line. I felt my excitement bubble in my chest as I placed my coffee and muffin down onto the table. Time went swiftly by as I ate my snack and worked.

I looked up and saw Morgan throw her backpack onto the ground and sit in her chair with an exasperated sigh.

"What happened?" I said and closed my computer.

"Miranda ruined the dress by spilling coffee on it and it's due tomorrow. Now I have to start all over."

"Would you like to take this to court? I can be your lawyer free of charge,"

"Haha very funny, I'll be working late tonight. Sorry,"

"It's fine with me, the one you should really ask if their okay with it or not is Brittney,"

"Brittney is going home today,"

"Really?" I said surprised

"Yeah, something about needing to prepare for an audition in a movie,"

"Wow, that is really good!" I said, "Do you know when she will be back?"

"I think she said by the end of this week,"

"Oh, so the day after tomorrow?"

"Yeah,"

"Hope she gets the part,"

"Yep," Morgan sighed

"I also hope you finish in time,"

Morgan smiles, "Thanks, me too. Well, nice talking to you, I gotta run and get started."

"Want me to get you anything for dinner?"

"Nah, I will just heat up a frozen meal,"

"Ok then, see ya,"

Morgan waved as she left and left me once again by myself in the café nearly empty. As I got ready to continue working, I heard several people coming over and glanced over wondering who it was. I recognized the two boys Cassio and Peter from last night. They were among a group of 4 boys and they all were carrying their bags and different drinks.

"I mean seriously what is Andrius thinking letting Davies going around the school declaring he is the prince and future king," said one boy

"Luke, we are not in the position to question Andrius' motives." Said another

"Drew is right, all we have to do is follow Andrius' instructions no matter how illogical,"

"Sam, be quiet." Said Drew

"Why? I tell you what Andrius is doing is highly suspicious. First, he doesn't race anymore now he asks Cassio to lose against Davies, like who is he tell us what to do,"

"Enough," Cassio hissed, "it's not the time nor place to be discussing this, after all it's not like your oblivious why Andrius doesn't race anymore, Sam."

"It's only-" Sam started but shut up after Cassio gave him a withering look

"I wish he would tell us stuff, after all most of us have known him for a while," Luke muttered

"You all know that he only trusted one person and that person is gone...it's hard to replace..." Peter muttered, and the café became silent once more.

"Oh, Pete I-" Drew started

"It's fine...no one notices anyways..."

"Hey, you share a dorm room with Andrius, do you know what he is up to?" Sam said then got slapped on the shoulder by Cassio.

"I do share a room with him but so what, just so you know I am not Char-" Peter started then turned his head to look out the window, "Andrius didn't tell me anything..."

"Really?" Luke said, "Have you even tried? I bet you went with that because you didn't want to talk with Andrius."

"Be quiet Luke, if you got nothing nice to say then leave." Cassio snapped again and Luke shot him a reproachful glance.

"Maybe it's time to tell Andrius to move on, I mean...it's already been so many months," Sam said and was immediately hit by Drew

"You know what, all of you leave, do not share what we discussed." Cassio announced

"Like we discussed anything," Luke muttered then was followed by Drew and Sam out the door. Peter was going to follow but was stopped by Cassio.

"Pete, I want to talk to you,"

"Not here," Peter said and looked over at me. Embarrassed I quickly looked back at my computer trying to ignore the fact that my cheeks had probably turned a brilliant shade of red.

I watched them leave from the corner of my eye for a little while before resuming my work. What were they talking about? What did they mean by Andrius telling Cassio to lose? Questions swirled in my mind as my curiosity grew more and more. Unfortunately, there was no way for me to find out. I looked towards the patio doors that Peter and Cassio exited and considered for a moment to follow them. Then my phone started buzzing. It was Morgan.

"Hey bookworm, you coming to help me or not?" said a grouchy voice from the other end

"Hi Morgan, sorry I'll be right there. I just wanted to finish a few things,"

"Yeah whatever," the line fuzzed then was quiet. Morgan had hung up. I gave the patio doors a last glance before exiting the café to go back to the girl's dorm.
