I watched as the school dorms got closer and closer into view. Brittney had left with her friends and gave the keys to Morgan. The car ride was quiet except for the dull hum of the engine and wooshes of cars driving by.
"What did you mean when you said that I didn't want to see what happened." I spoke
Morgan sighed, "The king of racing is Andrius. Andrius Amadeus..."
I cocked my head wondering if I should know who that is.
"He...is the senior class president and king of Circuit. He actually was the one of the founding members of Circuit...Almost the entire school knows Andrius."
"Well, I guess I am in the 5% that don't know him,"
"No kidding,"
"Is he mean or something?" I said
"What? No!" Morgan said giving me a side eye, "He's actually one of the nicest people in this school...that is unless you get on his bad side."
"Then why did you drag me away?"
"Had a feeling there was going to be an argument between Davies and Andrius,"
"Why?" I asked but Morgan didn't respond. Silence spanned between our conversation once more and I stared out the window pondering then said, "Is it because Davies is the new prince, and he wants to challenge Andrius for his position?"
"Yeah..."
"I don't see why there needs to be an argument, all Andrius has to do is race." I looked at Morgan, but she was silent once more.
"Hello?" I sighed heavily, "You know it's hard talking to you when you keep letting the conversation drop."
"I am warning you...don't go digging yourself into things that don't concern you."
"What do you mean? How could something like a simple competition for the title cause trouble?"
"Andrius.... doesn't race anymore...."
