I blinked slowly, not quite sure what just happened. Everything was happening too fast and all at once. After Davies had slapped Cassio, Cassio had punched Davies saying, "You really want to have this fight here and now?"
"What are you afraid of idiot," Davies shouted back.
"Suit yourself bonehead,"
The pair were now on top of each other rolling on the floor exchanging blows. Security was standing hesitantly at the door along with the expanding group of spectators. It's funny how no one has come to stop them yet. I thought then said to Morgan, "Do you think someone should step in and stop them?"
"Well, the security guards work for Cassio and I doubt they want to go against his order. Other than them, the other people are just audience members. No real power. They probably would just get pummeled."
"I heard both Cassio and Davies took martial arts when they were younger, so it is obvious that no one wants to step in." Brittney said overhearing my conversation with Morgan
"You have such big ears, Brittney. Even a rumor that obscure yet you know of it." Morgan muttered but her eyes were sparkling with amusement
"Obviously, I have my ways of fishing for information. Popularity isn't all about looks you know. It is also about how much tea you can spill."
"Then you are the queen of tea itself," Morgan said
"I'll take that as a compliment," Brittney smiled and Morgan rolled her eyes.
Then suddenly the doors burst open, and all eyes turned to the two boys who entered. Even Cassio didn't struggle as much which caused Davies to stop and turn.
"You guys done?" Andrius said with a cold even tone that caused shivers to run down my spine.
Davies and Cassio quickly scrambled upright and straightened their clothing.
"You forgot that the senior class president can stop them." I whispered in Morgan's ear, causing her to struggle suppressing a laugh.
"Cassio started it," Davies muttered and Andrius gave him a dark look
"Did I say you could speak?" Davies shifted uncomfortably and Andrius continued, "You two are a real disappointment do you know that? Cassio you are about to graduate next year and here you are fighting with a junior. Do you want to get suspended? And Davies, you are a junior do you want to get arrested and be accused of assaulting someone on your record?"
"Theoretically, this place is owned by Cassio's parents so they-" one of Cassio's friends said
"I didn't even start with you guys yet. Each one of you all just here watching and cheering the fight on. Where do you think you are? In a boxing ring? If someone had died tonight who would be the one taking the blame?"
"You don't have to make it sound so serious. We have control and know when to stop." Davies muttered
"Do you now?" Andrius said his voice dangerously soft. "Because when I came in, you seemed a little too excited. Must have been a while you got to beat someone up huh,"
Davies for once was silent. Most likely because he is scared. Andrius the silent cool-headed senior class president can really be intimidating sometimes.
Andrius sighed then looked at Cassio and Davies, "Both of you, head to the clinic to get cleaned up then go home. Same goes for all of you. Who goes bowling at midnight?" after a moment no one moved, "Well, what are you waiting for? Move it." Immediately people scattered and started packing up to go home. Davies hesitated on his way out and opened his mouth which I believe he immediately regretted.
"I-" Davies started then was interrupted by Andrius who said, "If I hear another word from or about you two, I will make sure you have suspension next week and the exact details of what happened tonight written on your student record."
"Class president really has a lot of power," I muttered.
"Yep. Andrius sure is angry with them,"'
"He doesn't get angry much. I think this is the first time I heard him say so many words,"
"This is actually nothing compared to last time."
"Last time?"
"Andrius gets angry in four situations mainly: people insulting his family, people calling him Andy, people badmouthing his friends, and people getting into silly fights." Morgan said
"You know you are not too bad at gossip yourself Morgan. You are worthy to be my friend." Brittney cut in suddenly and I suddenly remembered she was still there.
"Huh, thanks for the compliment,"
"You're welcome,"
"Wait what happened last time?" I said,
"That is a long story. I will tell you when we get back," Morgan said, "We better leave too. Don't want to draw attention to ourselves."
