I looked at the mess of cloth and fabric splayed across the room and could imagine exactly what Brittney would say. When I got back, the room was already filled with cloths of every color and pins and tape measures scattered across the floor. Morgan was in the mode. She was dancing and singing with earbuds in her ears and in iPod in her back pocket. I didn't really have a job; I just was there to hold up colors and I guess clean.
"Morgan? MORGAN!"
She suddenly noticed I that I was talking to her, "Yeah what's up Ev,"
"Do you need me to help you with anything?"
"No, I'm all good thanks though,"
"But didn't you say you needed my help?"
"Mm, turns out I didn't, sorry," Morgan laughed awkwardly before turning back to her work
"Sorry about yesterday, I didn't realize Andrius was a sensitive topic,"
"It's alright you didn't know," she said brushing me off.
"So, since I'm here, are you sure you still want a frozen meal? I can go grab some sandwiches?" I said deciding to switch topics
"Go for it..."
Okay then... I thought to myself as I stood up and grabbed my purse. "Bye," I said then headed out the door without waiting a response. I walked down the empty hall looking at the empty walls and plain wooden doors. Morgan was always like this after having a touchy conversation. It happened twice before when Brittney and Morgan had arguments about one thing or another. All Brittney needed was a coffee and someone to vent on while Morgan had to have time alone. I walked down the stairs and out the door, feeling the fresh autumn air touch my skin. I walked alone along the sidewalk back to the dining hall.
