CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE
AGAIN, I'm being manipulated by a charmer. This is the same situation I've been through. My ex was a charmer too. What a messed up coincidence that I would actually die in the hands of his kind. He smiled sweetly at me, gave me assurance, took my trust and eventually killed me. Why do I always fall on their traps? I loathe charmers; everyone of them.
I am trying my very best to stop my hand from moving. I used my other hand to stop it. I look rather stupid like someone who have a split mind. Nakakarinig ako ng yabag mula sa malapit. May paparating. Halos lumandag ang puso ko. Unti-unting umuusbong ang pag-asa kong makakaligtas pa ako. Please pakibilisan. Ayokong mamatay sa ganitong paraan.
"Do it, Onyx. Help me win," the manipulator said with a wide grin. Masama ko siyang tinignan habang pinipilit na ibaba ang kamay ko. Ngayon, hindi na siya mukhang mabait na lalaki na gusto ng kapayapaan. His smile became so crooked, it looks like he's an evil villain from a fictional movie. I grunted when my right hand got a lot more control than the left. I gnawed my lower lip as I try my best to stop myself. But the worst thing happened. My left hand, instead of stopping my right hand from stabbing my nape, also held the knife to help my other arm. It's like my will got defeated by the pull of Allan's ability. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang makita na kung sino ang papalapit. Hindi siya napapansin ni Allan dahil nakatalikod siya rito.
"Onyx?" The newcomer chuntered. A tear escaped my eyes. It's Felicity, thank goodness! I guess luck's on my side this time.
Bumwelo ang kamay ko para itarak na ang kutsilyo sa likod ng leeg ko. Please do something, Felicity. Please help me! Ayokong ma-eliminate. I promised her father that I would help her get out of here. How could I do that if I'm already eliminated? Come on! What's taking her so long!?

Nanghihina akong napaluhod sa sahig habang nakadapa sa harap ko si Allan. I heard Felicity's hurrying steps towards my direction. I lost my grip on the knife and just stared at the huge rock in front of me. Seems like Felicity threw it at Allan to knock him off.
"Are you okay?" Felicity asked while taking out her sword from its sheath.
"Hindi kita sasaktan!" Allan said while getting up. Oh here we go again with his trick! Agad niyang kinuha ang kutsilyo at ibinigay kay Felicity. Nagtataka naman iyong kinuha nang huli. Ugh! I can't feel my body anymore. I can't even stand up! Nakakapanghina palang kalabanin ang sarili.
"My name is Allan. Can you stab the chip on your nape?" The manipulator said while smiling charmingly. Felicity smiled back and nodded. Her hand held the knife and slowly took them above her head to reach the back of her neck. No!
Inipon ko ang lahat ng lakas na natitira sa akin at nagpumilit na tumayo habang hawak ko ang sniper ko. Nangako akong tutulungan ko si Felicity. Hindi ko hahayaang may mangyaring masama sa kaniya. Kahit nanginginig ang tuhod ko ay tumayo ako nang matuwid at itinutok ang dulo ng baril ko sa batok ni Allan. He stopped and gasped. Looks like he forgot that I'm still here.
Without a second thought, I pulled the trigger. It hit him where the chip on his nape is located. The bullet penetrated his skin and goes through his neck. He almost got decapitated. Felicity immediately fell on the ground. I closed my eyes when blood splattered on my face like a fountain. Allan's body fell on the ground with a loud thud. Agad akong lumapit kay Felicity at niyakap siya nang mahigpit.
