XERINITY POV:
"Mom, I tell you. Mapapahiya lang si dad later if he continued what he planned. I don't want to be the CEO of XTELECOM. We have kuya, bakit ako?" I utterred.
"Honey, please we just want to make you-," pinutol ko ang sinabi ni mom.
"I don't have any knowledge about XTEL company and I wonder why dad want me to be the CEO," I utterred.
"Your dad has a plan," mom utterred suddenly.
"What plan?" I utterred.
"Nevermind Honey, just get dressed up," mom changes the topic.
"What planned mom?" I asked her botherly.
"Gusto ng dad mo na di iiwan ng SM INN company ang kompanya natin dahil nakakaapekto ito sa ating kompanya. SM INN company left us before and it's a big threat to us dahil sa privacy na enenentrust natin sa kanila. Kaya ngayon gusto ng dad mo na ikaw ang maging CEO para ang CEO ng SM INN company ay maghahabol sayo!" Mom utterred na mas lalong nagpapakumplikado ng lahat.
"Bakit sa akin?" I confusedly asked.
"Dahil you and Simo-," naputol ang sinabi ni mom when dad enter the room.
"Your brother and SM INN company CEO are friends already and mabilis lang itong malabas pasok ng SM INN ang kompanya natin," dad interfere our conversation.
"Edi-," naputol ang sinabi ko when dad utterred again.
"Prepare yourself, I will call you after a while," Dad utterred.
"Dad, I will leave it still to kuya," sabi ko na tumitingin sa kanya.
"Please!" Dad utterred in a sad face.
Nakita ko si kuya na pumasok sa room namin and he just smiled at me.
Alam kong nasasaktan si kuya dahil dito pero he just cheer me up instead.
"Go OA, kaya mo yan!" Kuya utterred at umalis na after.
"Dad, you know how important being a CEO to kuya but why do you do this to him?" I utterred while frowning my face.
"Your kuya already know this and he understand it, prepare yourself" dad utterred and leave the room.
"Hayss," I sighed while dressing up.
"I don't really want to be the CEO, I don't want to deal with lots of people which environment is I'm lacked of knowledge of," I added.
"It's okay, honey. Just trust what your dad's doing," mom utterred.

SIMON POV:
"Cheers," sabi ng isang ka co-businessman ko na lumapit sa akin.
"Cheers," I smiled.
"Hey Simon, how are you?" Nakita ko ang haliparot na babae sa aking tabi na si Ms. Twirk.
"Hello, Ms. Twirk. It's been a long time," I utterred while I'm siping the wine I hold.
"Yeah and I miss your lovely face already," she utterred.
I just smiled at her widely and fakely.
"Ladies and gentleman good evening! Thank you so much for coming. I am Victor Barre and I'm proud to say that we are now celebrating the 40th year anniversary of XTELECOM company. Those past few years has been the hardest challenges of my company since our daughter was confined in abroad. It's tough and we don't know how to handle it. But luckily right now, we are back and we got up. We keep fighting," Mr. Barre announces in the stage that caught everyone's attention.
"Tonight is one of the years celebration of my beloved company and also tonight, will be the signing of full alliances and partnership to companies we trusted the most. I will also be announcing that in this night, we will be having a new CEO," Mr. Barre continued habang sinisip ko lang ang wine na dala ko.
"I AM VICTOR BARRE retiring as a CEO and I will leave the position to my beloved-," Victor Barre keeps on talking but ito ako kinakabahan ng sobra.
Ang lakas ng tibok ng aking dibdib, di ko maipaliwanag ang aking nararamdaman. Siguro dahil ito sa takot na hindi ako magkacomplete partnership sa company ni Mr. Barre. Buti pa sana kung si Xyriel ang new CEO then agad niyang pipirmahan ang business contract ko with their company. Pero hindi e' iba, iba ang aking nararamdaman.
Dahil sa di ko mapaliwanag na nararamdaman, agad kong tinawag ang waiter.
"Waiter, wine please," I utterred while giving him my glass.
"Here sir," sabi niya ng mapuno ito ng wine.
"Thank you," I utterred at iniinom ko ang wine na dala ko.
"Help me welcome, the new CEO of XTELECOM is my daughter, Xerinity Barre," Victor Barre utterred na nakapagpapaseryoso sa akin.
Xerinity Barre is the architect of those designs which Vinny used to show me.
"Wow, she's so business minded if it's true but how about Xyriel?" Sabi ko sa aking sarili.
"Mr. Cutie pie, ang ganda niya?" Sabi ni Ms. Twirk na nakatulala habang may pinagmamasdan.
Agad kong tiningnan ang kanyang tiningnan. Nagulat ako sa aking nakita na tila ba sari-saring emosyon ang aking nararamdaman. Di ko maipaliwanag, bigla akong nabuhayan when I saw the lady's face standing in the stage.
"ZHIEL?!" napalunok kong sambit habang tinitingnan ang kanyang maamong mukha sa ibabaw ng stage.
"You're alive?" My voice was cracked and my tears started to fall.
"My dear, you're alive," nasabi ko nalang bigla-bigla habang napahagulgol ako ng iyak.
"She's Zhiel! Zhiel!" Sigaw ko dahilan ng pagtingin ng mga tao sa akin.
Bigla akong pinaupo ni Ms. Twirk sa isang upuan.
"Shhh, remember it's business partnership. You want to have their signature so, please be formal," ms. Twirk utterred na nakapagpapatigil sa akin.
Pilit kong pinatigil ang aking paghagulgol pero di ko mapigilan ang aking mga luha when I saw Zhiel's face. It's really Zhiel's face. No one can argued me. I saw her with my both eyes. Yeah, tama nga si Vinny at si Vienes, Zhiel is alive. My girlfriend is alive.
"But how come? Bakit di man lang niya ako nilapitan? Pano? Pano nabuhay ang patay? I mean, galit pa ba siya sa akin?" Pag-ooverthink ko na di ko na alam ang iniisip.
"Good evening, ladies and gentleman," she utterred while smiling the way she used to do before.
"It's really her, my dear. I need to talked to her. I need to tell her something. I need to explained my side and she has to explained bakit nagawa niyang mamuhay without me. Xyriel need to answer my questions, no, Mr. Barre should tell his secrets," sabi ko sa aking sarili na paiba-iba nalang ang iniisip.
Nanunumbalik ang sakit na aking nararamdaman simula nong nawala siya. Miss na miss ko na siya. I want to hug and kiss her.
Di ko na napakinggan ang kanyang mga sinasabi dahil sa pag-ooverthink ko.
Habang ako'y nakaupo, narinig ko nalang na may nagsabing signing of contract.
Agad akong lumapit sa harapan para maaninag at makita ko si Zhiel. I have to act formally right now kundi lahat ng kaalyansa ko mawawala pagmay gagawin akong di kaaya-aya.
"HEY! MR. SIMON, good evening!" Saad pa niya sa akin na ngumingiti na umaastang di ako kilala.
Nagalit ako dahil sa kanyang pinahiwatig. She acts different. Di ba niya ako kilala?
"YES! I'M MR. SIMON," diin na sabi ko habang tinitingnan ang kanyang mga mata.
Namimilog ang aking mga luha sa giliran ng aking mga mata habang nakikita kong namimilog din ang sa kanya.
