A few days have passed since you started to live together as a 'roommate'. And to be completely honest, you didn't think that it would be this nice to live together with him. Macaque was actually a really quiet guy. He didn't communicate much and also had a short temper. Whenever you asked him to go somewhere together, he'll aggressively decline and just vanish.
There were also times where he'll set up his own clone to replace himself as the 'bodyguard'. You thought he was annoyed by you since he looked angry almost every time whenever you were around.
'Maybe he's letting his anger out in his so-called dimension.'
Thoughts like this wandered around your head constantly whenever he wasn't around. And it made you feel bad.
But there were also some positives on replacing himself as one of his clones. They were extremely clingy and flirty. You didn't mind if they hug you the entire day long. The only thing you needed for you to stay where you are and for them to keep hugging you was just food and drinks. Eh..maybe a few breaks to go to the bathroom too.
. . .
When your 'mother' called out on you and had to explain why you didn't want to come and live with her, she gave up on you afterward anyway. She sounded so disappointed about losing her chance to see you again. But you didn't care. No matter how sad she sounds or is, she never deserved to see one of her daughters ever again.
Something was in your mind though. Where was she living any way? You haven't really thought about it back then but she never really mentioned her home or location. All she kept bragging about was how popular she was and needed one of her daughters to come to her concert. It would have been fun to embarrass her to the audience.
But enough about her, you had to focus on decorating now! Both Macaque and his clone are gone and he's probably resting to keep his energy up. This was your only chance to change something!
It's not really that he dislikes to see you making changes in his dojo but it's the fact that you never mention it to him before making anything new. When you replace something, like a plate, just anything that was breakable, he would just throw it on the ground. Not even caring how much it cost you!
You went outside with Macaque's red scarf that happen to lay on one of the chairs and looked around the furnishing stores. There weren't many things that could fit inside the darkroom but you thought of lighting the place up first before doing anything else. So, you moved on to another store that only involved lamps or lightbulbs.
*bling*
"Hello miss, how may I help you?" An old man asked while standing behind a counter.
You turned in surprise and greeted him with a smile.
"Hello there! I'm just searching for lamps that might light up an entire room. Do you have anything that could light up a 4×6 room?"
"I'm guessing the height is also 2 meters right?"
"Ah..no it's actually 3 meters sir. It's a dojo so it's much bigger than a regular house." You corrected while sounding a bit anxious at the same time.
"A dojo you say..hm...I'm not sure if this lamp that I'm about to show is going to light up a 4×6 room with a height of 3 meters. But..I prefer to give it a try."
He walked out of the counter and went further inside the store. He kept brushing his beard as he stopped at one of the lamps but one of them seems to stand out from the rest. It was beautiful but had a dark aura surrounding it. You were a bit afraid and kept a distance from it.
'How creepy..that must be some kind of special item or something..' You thought. Maybe because the lantern was standing in the middle of the room.
You stopped your track and noticed a shadow go by. It didn't have the aura of Macaque so you felt a bit anxious. You approached the man infront of you, slightly concerned if he knew that something was off too.
