I said my 'goodbye's' and 'cya later' to the one's who were going up to the moon. Tang, Mei and I had decided to stay on earth. I didn't know what the reason was for them to stay here but mine definitely had something to do with Monkey King and Mk.

I don't dislike them. I just thought they needed space from me because of the rejection I smacked to their faces. Not once, not twice, but thrice! Imagine being rejected by the same person you had confessed. Feeling the punch now, eh?

Well, I can't express how they feel because I myself have never gone through rejection before. Especially that much.

I wonder, how many past reincarnation has Edea been before I showed up. They must've rejected Sun Wukong and Macaque too. After all, that book I got from Macaque's small library, I can only see the picture of Edea, Monkey King and Macaque together.

There were also a few pictures of some of the reincarnation girls. But their faces were either covered or hidden. And neither of them was together with the Monkey's.

I look down to my feet and saw Mac licking his front paw. He looked up to me with a genuine cat smile and jumped on my lap. He adapt himself until he felt comfortable to lay down.

I sighed and caress his back as I felt his small figure warming up my legs from the cold night. His fur was oddly softer than I had remembered. I thought his was slightly rough but. . .this hits different.

Is this really the Macaque I had taken care of? It surely doesn't feel like it. But his personality is still the same as before.

I pushed Mac down with a dead glare. He hissed at me aggressively. I headed to the seat next to Mei. My empty dead glare still remained. They stared into the distance until Mei cut me off by waving her hand in front of my eyes.
