Eyyy thank you Sky_Strikez, Kawaiimalk and 1-800-EATME for commenting and voting literally *all* of the chapters. I mostly recognize the three of you whenever I post a chapter and I get excited whenever I see a comment from one of you. Y'all obsessed with Macaque af. But hey, I can't blame you for that.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But really, I appreciate your support on this. Even if it comes to slow terms.

Red Son heaved as he barely got away from his mother teaching him a lesson. He luckly made it out while almost having an heart attack from her. And to be honest, you couldn't blame him for that. She really was a strict woman who disciplines her child in the hard way, literally. But seriously, you felt bad for Red Son.

You wished that he'd have a different life than this. You figured that he and his parent's were the ones destroying Megapolis. Since the black haired girl mentioned Red's name yesterday. No wonder it sounded familiar. And yet, you felt bad for not noticing his name in first place.

Red Son met up with you at the planned place. He knew all secret pathway to get out of his hell home. He made it himself infact. Whenever he felt frustrated from his parents, he'd secretly takes his time off from his work to go outside. He would lie if he said he didn't like the fresh air of nature.

"This way." He said as he swiftly took your hand.

It made you stumble behind but enough to posture yourself back to normal. You looked up him. Watching the side of his eyes shining with excitement.

"Red."

"Hm?"

"I haven't told you what the Journey was about."

Red stopped his tracks right in front of the exit that was a few steps ahead of you. He turned around with an expressionless face and slowly deepened it with a frown. Thinking what it might be.

"You earlier said that you wanted to find someone, am I correct? So i'm guessing it's your partner."

You look down to your feet and nodded slightly at his correct guess. What a total big brain.(unlike author who's IQ is lower than 100)

"That stupid boyfriend of yours better have a good explanation for leaving you." He said as he clenched his fists tightly and setting it in fire.

You rolled your eyes and stroke his head carefully. He calmed down and looked at you with amusement.

"You know, sometimes I really wish we were born as siblings..." You said while smoothing your eyes at him.

Red's flaming fist burned down. Slowly reaching for your hand on his head.

"If we were, I would've ran away together with you. Not only as a brother but also as a close friend."

Red's voice trembled. Not stopping you from saying anything else.

"If we grew up together...you wouldn't have turned out like this..." You said while your vision slowly gets blurry.

Red's eyes swallowed with tears as he tightened his hand on yours. He stuttered to let out words from his mouth but at the end,

"T-Thank you..." He trembled.

You gave him a gleeful smile and placed your hand away from him. He wiped his tears away from falling.

He had to endure it all for years. And now, was finally the time let it all out. The pain, sorrow the guilt. Even if this journey doesn't forever, he'd somehow find a place where his parents wouldn't find him. One day, you'll go away too. Just like before.
